Well that was a waste of time. The only good thing about that was realising that Marquito can shoot penalties after all.

Mostly a deserved result. It wasn't like Mexico was that much better or they looked like they were going to score, and neither were the Danes.

Says the troll whose team just tied Canada. A Canada who actually lost 4-0 to this Denmark team.

Non internationals, hard to judge but better than some years, euro level vompetition for domestic. Ill take it. Something to learn from and compare with, real improvement for domestic league

    MEH.

Chepo played scurred. And he gifted Mexican league mediocres (Aguilar) their chance to show why they can't handle the international game. Creativity died after Herrera was gone. Ayala looked kinda meh, I've always wanted him and Torres Nilo to go to Europe but at this point I doubt they'l go so maybe we should look into some other options in the back. Molina was the one I wanted to see besides Herrera but he didn't get a chance. Jimenez did probably the same that Aldo did. Finally, the only difference I saw between Marco and Oribe was that Marco took a great pk.

    pretty disappointing game

our backline looked like shit for the most part. too many stupid giveaways and no coherence at all. Torres Nilo was the only guy in the backline that looked solid.

Herrera needs a better partner in the mid because Salcido can not cut it at all. screws up his passes and his shots are even worse.

from here on, i really hope Chepo starts playing with just one striker and have a playmaker behind the striker. playing with 2 strikers has produced nothing.

Let's not start the spazzing. It was a game in which to test out some of our other players, and it served it's purpose. It could have been better of course, but we did have several flashes of brilliance. Plus this was a perfect game in which to observe the negative shit in our team as well.

    Positives:
    Herrera
    Fabian
    Aquino
Reyna was pretty good for the most part.

    Negatives:
Salcido should not start at all anymore.
Defense overall looked pretty damn bad. I was so dissapointed to see Ayala and Nilo play so damn bad.
    Arce isn't NT material.
We can't play with two forwards, we need our "10".

typical molero game, our guys looked disinterested. Credit to the Danes, they are well coached and stuck to their scheme.

Mole... Molito... Molito para los esquincles...

Meh... scrimmage without much rhythm... team will play a bit better against Jamaica... but as always a run of games / tournament will do wonders for a team that plays like Mexico with the bowl against well organized defenders etc.,

Aquino wasn't that good imo. Could be cause Paul Aguilar kept going through that side... he sucked too.

Not a surprising result. I do believe Chepo uses friendlies as a way to see who plays well with each other and who doesn't. It reminded me of the Leon game before the olympics. It also showed Chepo that if they shut down your carrileros, you need to make the adjustment.

Mexico was more way inconsistent than we would like to see, but these guys were playing together for 2 practices, so there's that.

My dream line up for Jamaica

    corona
meza -- moreno -- maza -- torres nilo
    fabian -- herrera - molina -- guardado
    gio
    chicharo

That whole play was on Salcido,no?
he is the one that lost the ball on "la salida" like a noob and Maza was caught off guard, Torres Nilo tried to clean up but really wasn't on him it was Salcido.

    I want to see

    ----------------Corona--------------

    -?---Maza--------Moreno---Nilo--

    ----------Herrera---Gullit--------

    --Aquino----Gio--------Guardado-

    ----------Cheech-------------------

Enough of Salcido, Gullit works twice as hard and is a better passer to boot. I would like to see Fabian with the starters, but Aquino seems to have the RW spot secured atm and i can't see Chepo dropping Gio or Guardado. Also i don't know what we do at RB, it's really the only position with no clear starter or quality option. Jimenez from Tigres? he's fared well in the past.

I love the way the media overreacts to games like this. It is comical. Ultima Palabra. They do not even know that Mexico changed the date for the June game with Jamaica.
