I do hope their NT aspirations have been permanently squashed then. Those 2 Uzbeks goals raised my blood pressure.

That's one positive I take from this match.

exactly most of those players wont play or need more time to develop plus with PCY and KSY coming next tuesday they can be slotted in as well. eventually we can integrate Koo and LCY but theres no rush.

defense i thought was fine first half but i was not that impressed by Choi Hyo-jin i was hoping to see Kim Chang-soo get a chance.

overall we seem to be really stacked in the creative midfield and striker positions. still need to find a good replacement DM from the U23 side.

    I Disagree that wasn't a good win.
This was like a u23 Uzbeki side.
Lack of discipline and quality.... One thing about this match that didn't quite make sense to me. Why did CKH sub 5 players at the same time? I realize he was trying to test something new but if you watch him he looked worried when we conceded 2. Part of the blame has to be coaching. replacing 5 people from a team that was doing decent?.... I dunno... Will see after Kuwait.
Or Maybe this was all planned out so the Uzbeki's aren't completely humiliated.
For first match ratings I give CKH a 6 at best for managing.

I guess he now knows that he can't really trust his bench (besides Kim Chi Woo).

Better he learns this now than later.

Yeah. Choi HJ, I dunno whether the guy ran out of gas at the end or whatever but... he got worse and worse as the game went on, missing his marker and constantly going out of position.

He heard the screams of our preening female fans and over-exerted himself.

We were doing well until we lost concentration in the 2nd half and let the Uzbeks settle and get comfortable. We sat back and gave them too much space and let them control the game. A win is a win and the 2nd half squad was a mix of our B/C team. It's great to see Kim Chi Woo back in the team with 2 great goals.

It was far from a perfect performance but it's a new team with a new manager so we have to be patient and try and be positive. I strongly believe that we'll beat Kuwait with our A team at home.

Another thing... I hoped that I never would see the case of Kim NI vs Nigeria again at an NT game, but we did :( It wasn't Kwak TH that I was worried about earlier, but Cho SH (this guy also never seems to get a break whenever he gets into the NT... kind of remind me of Cho Byung Kuk that way)...

When defending in the box, central defenders... please clear the ball with some urgency... especially when the opposition are in midst of pressing hard for a goal. Enough with this nonchalant and unsure defending!

    No.

Kuwait is better than this team. Uzbekistan has several players missing.

Kuwait's right winger freaks me out. He burned Hong Chul on multiple occasions during the qualifier. Hope whoever's on LB doesn't screw up.

    The whole situation is depressing.

no i dont but kuwait hasnt impressed exactly either in its buildup friendlies with a 1-1 draw to dprk and 0-1 loss to china. if we play like the first half we will win.

Our U-23 team is better than the KNT lineup that finished this match.

LKH and LDG looked good up there together.

    Bring on Kuwait!

Thankfully, I felt that Park WJ dealt with his side well enough this game IMO. Kim CW also provided good support for him (probably helps that he's also a part time wingback).

Most Uzbek attack in the second half came exclusively through our right side. Choi constantly got burned...

i was surprised how good Kim sang shik was, he was everywhere in the first half. and LKH is still not good enough. Runs around a lot, thats about it. he's like a PJS without a brain.

Now that we know what kind of pictures Mudang carries in his hard drive we should move on. The match was a warm up. The lineup in the first half did well and that's the team that's going be used against Kuwait. It was evident to me that we are ready to get at least a tie against Kuwait so now only the actual match awaits.

Lee Geunho was our best player. He ran around like a bull and helped the team retain possession and create space for others. On top of all that, he found time to position himself for a few chances. More than 50% of our attacks in the first half came from the right side. His haters are equivalent to retards.

I think we are overestimating Kuwait. This team lost to China (2-0) just recently. Simply, a tie won't be enough.
