Question about the Real Madrid-Man United game in Ann Arbor on Aug. 2. The reason why there has never been big-time soccer in that stadium before is because it's so narrow. So what has changed? Are they going to take out seats? With the stadium configured the way it is now, I think there's barely room for a 60-yard-wide field.

Costa Rica appears to be a bit confused about whom they will play in Boston: http://www.ticotimes.net/2014/03/13...ireland-in-final-warm-up-before-the-world-cup The Costa Rican Football Federal (Fedefut) has some geography issues. The organization clarified today that Costa Rica’s final match before the World Cup will be against Ireland — and not against Northern Ireland as the association announced Tuesday (although Fedefut’s Facebook page still hasn’t addressed the bewilderment). The national team will play Ireland just southwest of Boston on June 7. In addition to the Ireland match, Costa Rica will play one more June friendly. La Sele takes on Japan on June 2 in a yet-to-be-determined city in Florida. Costa Rica’s national team will train in Denver for a few weeks, beginning on May 20.
