Great goal... And Petrov shows his name and number for the thirtieth time. He wants out and it shows.

    Weiss has great vision.

Petrov with a goal, made sure he highlighted the back of his jersey afterward. He's had a boatlaod of goals preseason, I dont see why someone hasn't put in for him yet.

I don't want to jinx it, but we really could score 5 or 6 at the weekend...

Torre sends it directly to Tevez, who lays it off for Ireland, Perfect pass to Petrov.
Petrov earns a place on the squad. Well done!

Whoops, I thought it was Weiss with the pass. That's what you get for watching on a crap feed I guess:D Thanks for the details.

The organization looks good out there. 4-5-1 is looking very tight and proper distance

I think minus Weiss, plus de Jong, we would destroy with it.

Yeah, he's just got to be smart about it. He's got blazing speed, he took that pass from Ned from a few yards away in the box and got it to the attacking third in almost no time, but dribbled right into two defenders.

Oh so close. Barry almost had that one.

Barca's wearing a slightly darker blue.

Man we are looking very good in bringing the ball forward. Specifically, as mentioned, our counter attack looks great. I am liking this formation. Although, we have to remember to take this with a grain of salt since Barcelona's XI is full of reserve players. Even still, they are the Champions of Europe. Anyhow, sadly I will be signing off in a few minutes to start my commute home. If anything happens, post it!:D

It certainly made Wednesday a bit better now didn't it? I wonder if this will be a reoccuring theme with them, 1 goal in two matches is not like them at all. It will be interesting to see how things pan out. The plus side for us is everyone looks vulnerable at this point!

Well we all know that the Rags are slow starters but still a loss to a promoted side is rare for them. Arsenal looks good but they should do what they always do and fade after Christmas. Chelsea looks to be the class of the league right now, but it is very early on to make any assumptions about the league. just sit back and enjoy the excuse wagon that is Fergie after a loss.
