    Lone striker at that.

I've never been a fan of that position for Dempsey, but it doesn't look like Tottenham have many other options and they might be able to get away with it against a club like Leeds.

People on twitter seem to think Defoe is injured.

Nice ball from Lennon out to the right to Clint who tries to one time it with outside curve to the far post but doesn't get enough on it. Fantastic idea as he was marked pretty closely but ultimately looked weak.

Clint has had a number of chances thus far.

Demps looking very dangerous, just can't get at the end of one yet.

Solid 25 yard strike on a turn from Clint to the bottom left hand corner but the keeper parries easily.

Bale has all the awareness of an armadillo on the side of the road.

This color commentator is annoying. He definitely knows Sigurdsson wasn't hurt even though he clearly got clipped as he was passing the ball.

Dempsey has been fine. Some of the Spurs players don't seem that up for it. Lennon and Bale have been a bit quiet but they've been active. Siggy hasn't really provided anything.

Exactly. Moaning on about the good old days when the ref clearly pooched the call.

Sigurdsson is not very good, IMHO. It's amazing to me after watching that first half that Clint and Sigurdsson were ever in competition.

Also, it is obvious this line-up has not played with each other very much...very disjointed.

Thought Demps has done well in the passing/dribbling game. However his first couple shot attempts were fuggly. He got better as the half wore on... Will be an intersting 2nd half

Dempsey had three (3) decent chances and he mucked up all of them. The first was a through ball Defoe would have feasted on; Dempsey did not have the pace to get a clear 1v1. The second was whiffing on a cross trying to one time the ball. The third was a decent quick reaction save by the keeper but Dempsey could have placed it better.

His best shot was an "optimistic" long ranger which got tricky because of the dip.

Spurs look discombobulated at times but they clearly look like the better side. Bale needs to look to his teammates more; he could have quite a few more assists if he had.

More terrible defending leads to a nice goal for leeds 2-0
