And in some ways he is better than Teo.
But I think Bacca is more complementary to Falcao's skill set.

Pekerman seems to believe (after Teo) Muriel is best next to Radamel when healthy.

Such a problem to have with a wealth of strikers!

Pffff a lot of things, stop bitching about players you dont like and accept the reality. Montero is from Campo de la Cruz that is a town near from Barranquilla so that doesnt makes any difference.

I don't see any use (usually) to invite players to the world cup who weren't in Pekerman's proncess, unless we have problems in a specific position. For example, we have our 5 regular strikers (Falca, Teo, Bacca, Muriel, Jackson) and all of them aren't less good then Montero. Since we don't need more then 5 strikers, I don't see any use of inviting Montero when he didn't play a single minute under Pekerman. On the other hand, the CB position is something that we still need to try out more players like Alvarez-Balanta so in this case, I do think that we should try him despite the fact that he never played in the national team.

In most cases I agree but Montero is just on fire right now...
... and with that great form may come a look in March with the Seleccion if he keeps it up.

Also, we saw a guy like Ibarbo get called up at a pseudo striker type position. Although he is a different type of player I will concede.

And Adrian Ramos is in great form as well, but we cannot calling up too many strikers and I'm fine with our current 5. As for Ibarbo, he can also play as an attacking midfielder or false striker, so he can be useful in other position as well, plus his stregnth and speed are something very rare for our squad so I won't give up on this guy.

Sporting has a good chance to leap over Benfica. They'll take advantage of their draw today and try to win tomorrow.

he hasn't scored in 2014 correct?

This kid is so streaky..... I actually want him at the WC. If we can get him on a hot streak dude will hit 10 goals and help us lift the cup. Or miss more sitters than Fernando Uribe.

We have to accept that he's not this hot streak that he got when he first got to Portugal. He stated that he wanted to represent Colombia, then you need to continue working hard. Otherwise, you're going to get ignored.

Adrian Ramos has worked his ass off and he's playing in a league where his team isn't among the traditional powerhouses.
