No way in hell this deal is happening. Adu knows that he wouldn't even make Villa's bench. Plus the night life in Birmingham isn't that great and that is all Freddy probably cares about. There is no way I will be seeing Adu at Bodymoor heath tomorrow.
Not that it matters but thats harsh. If they expect Dawkins to backup Albrighton, then Adu could probably at least make the bench.

Honestly it is the truth though. He wasn't even a consistent starter for Philly. They cut him. Philly doesn't even have too many good midfielders. Also Albrighton is out for the season with a broken foot. Villa doesn't play with wingers. Currently the formation is 3-5-2 with 2 fullbacks in the wide position. Then there is a 3 man midfield with one attacking mid and 2 strikers up top. I don't see where freddy would fit. He can't play in one of the defensive mid roles and there is no way he would start over N'Zogbia who has been in fine form lately. Plus Ireland N'Zogbia's back up and Ireland is without a doubt better than Adu.
Just so it is known, I don't hate Adu at all. Aduesque likes to make up facts as we all know. I just hate posters who act like he is better than he actually is. I don't want Adu joining Villa because I know he is not good enough and would just be wasting away in the reserves or on the bench. Adu needs to go where he would play. If that is at another MLS club for lower pay, then he should do that.

I dont want to get any further into this conversation because its a very lengthy & annoying conversation to have but using reasoning that reflects the amount of time he played with Philly is not a good way to evaluate how good Adu is. There are many reasons why he didnt live up to expectations at Philly but his quality being the reason is actually a pretty popular fallacy. Take this argument with another though. Im not interested.

Really? Seems to me you spend most of your time watching Freddy clips on youtube, searching the internet top to bottom for any news on Freddy, and do that between time spent gazing at the Freddy posters which adorn your bedroom walls. You really changed your favorite team based on an Adu rumor? Didn't you also do that during his training stint in Turkey?
Please find me specifically say I hate Adu as you mentioned. I have stated time and time again that I actually like Adu and hope for the best for him. I think he has talent but needs to change the way he handles his career.
Ya Freddy totally killed it with EJ at Aris, so much so that he wound up in the Turkish second division. I don't think anyone wants Freddy to fail or hates him like you're implying, it's just that poor play on a below average MLS team doesn't necessitate a move to a better club. Let alone one in arguably the best league in the world.
