Menez gets the start as expected. Hopefully he shines in this match. I'm pulling for him to become a fixture in this squad. Unfortunately I've got to focus on my job today so no afternoon match for me lol. Catch the replay tonight.

So far, France looks very tight. A bit unsure about facing brazil.

Brazil looks way more up for this than we do .

The players need to step it up .

:( They're looking extremely tight. Just hold on until halftime, then shake off these damn butterflies.

Sagna is garbage . What does Réveillère have to do to get a damn place in the starting 11 ?

stupid challenge yes! in a league match, or competitive match, red. but its a friendly let him off with a yellow, this game is a exhibition no need to make it one sided. especially after the ref was being fairly lenient, letting them play. or , i know its impossible but somehow eject hernanes but let him be replaced and keep it 11 v. 11. no one wants to watch a 10 v. 11 friendly!

Yes, it's bad for France too, since the point was trying these players in 11-vs-11 conditions.

He could've had about 5 right about now .

    I'm surprised he's missing many chances .

If this were Scolari he'd relish the opportunity to test his team a man down. Mano does not seem to have a solid plan for that (although maybe his intention is simply to put these young guys through the fire and not change formation to help them).

While I agree with you that 10x11 isn't an ideal test for France they're doing the right thing in exploiting the spaces.

You have to give Julio Cesar some credit.

Ugh! Now would've been a great substitution point for Trezegoal. Oh well...
