#1150 Put down for three. My dad surprised me and said he want to get tickets with me which was only surpassed by my girlfriend saying that even she would want tickets.
I am curious to see how many season tickets they will have reserved. At the absolute minimum you can assume everyone would get at least 2 tickets so the first 5000 would put ATL MLS at 10k season ticket holders. That would be a decent base to start with.
Will I was at the after party I get an email saying I am #999. My girlfriend got us two tickets! Lord knows I picked a winner!

#598 myself. The benefit of not being able to attend the announcement last night. Last check the web site didn't announce the total to date, and the probably won't until they reach their goal. Still, I think having about 1,500 after the first day is great! We are Legion!
I have seen the numbers over 1500 for the Orders. I am not sure how many are Founders Orders but I suspect at least around 1200 would be founders and I am also assuming that each founder order has at least 2 tickets on average. If that is the case then having about 2500 season tickets reserved. I hope we can get to 10-15k by 2017.
That would be awesome. I expect this surge to last through the week. Things might slow down after next week... But I expect another surge after the World Cup, slow down in 2015, pick back up in 2016, speed up after centario and summer 2016, and perhaps another surge from the fall of 2016 until first kick off. I'm hoping we can get about 15k season tickets sold in that time. Shamefully, I have yet to pay my dues for this and for TL... Part of it is I'm trying to go ahead and get this move out of the way and get settled... But need to hurry up and get on the ball.
I'm guessing a part of the timing for this announcement is exactly that - To put the franchise in place so that fans could jump on the bandwagon amidst all the hype of watching Brasil, Germany, USA... Slacker.
I signed up yesterday. Number 620. I got 1 for the supports section. I'm guessing this will be the TL section. All aboard from Bama!
you guys did realize the number and location are not final, right? If you put down for 2 tickets in Standard, but come time to actualy pay up, you want 3 tickets in Supporters - it looks like that's totally fine. The selections were just a way for them to get an idea of demand.
Yeah, it seems like this is mainly a marketing exercise to gauge the level of interest and what fans want as part of their gameday experience. Found it interesting that they asked for favorite foreign player. Put down Schweinsteiger. He definitely has an active interest in playing in MLS, but he might just go for New York or LA. But one can dream.
