Hey all, I wasn't sure where to post this suggestion, but I would like to hear some feedback on it. It seems that as that as MLS continues to grow, there are more and more people who are visiting other MLS stadia. The numbers of visiting fans will only increase as more teams and SSS's are added. With this in mind, I think it may be helpful to have a MLS Fans and Travel sub-forum, similar to the USA Men Fans and Travel sub-forum. Fans interested in going to another game would be able to pose questions related to stadium and game day procedures, things to do, etc. that could be answered by other users. In addition, it may help pave the way for more supporter group interaction between clubs. I know Toronto and some other team forums have included threads about visiting their city, but I think it may be helpful to have a one-stop-shop for all of the cities that is more permanent than a thread. Any suggestions or ideas for something like this?
Why not use the MLS teams forum? Most MLS supporters groups set up an official tour that includes transportation to the city, to the game, to the hotel (if necessary), and back to their home city. Right now, i'd imagine that most supporters would travel on some sort of "official" trip with their group. I think that such a forum would be complete overkill.
The point of my post was to see if anyone else thought such a forum would be necessary. Based on there being one vote against and no additional input, I'd say there is no interest. Feel free to close thread.
