http://www.landskronadirekt.com/arkivet/nyheter/1403.htm#140116_7 The recently released Anthony Wallace is trialing with Landskorna BoIS of the Swedish Superettenn (2nd Disivision).
Not released, out of contract. The Rapids were negotiating to bring him back but apparently he's looking elsewhere.
I was at work during the draft and so was watching the chat with Matt Doyle on MLSoccer.com. When discussing NYRB he mentioned that Petke was finished with Kimura. I hope it isn't true or if it is that Kos get picked up somewhere.
He is on twitter (https://twitter.com/The_Tman10), but his account is protected. He and Danny Earls killed Phoenix FC last season, so based on that performance, I'd think they'd want him back. Then again, Phoenix FC was a broken team at that point (not getting paid and playing at 'nationally recognized' Reach 11 will do that to you).
Found a lil more info about this on Dallas's forum: http://soccerblog.dallasnews.com/20...-fc-dallas-and-his-career-ending-injury.html/ I wonder if trying to come back from this concussion too quick actually was more damaging long-term. I seem to remember Ugo being a really well spoken guy. It'd be cool to see him as a broadcaster or maybe an assistant so he can stay within tha game. Best wishes Ugo!
I think this is funny because of how much of his career he spent not traveling to Canadian away games.
Oh he still can't go there, he will just be playing their American away games ... until they trade him back to the Rapids for Powers.
But insane property taxes, and a high sales tax. (Seriously, I paid almost $5,000 a year on a house that was assessed at just under $200,000.)
Danny Earls is apparently "Trialist 1" in KC's lineup tonight against Portland (and assume he was on Tuesday against Tucson too).
http://www.mlssoccer.com/news/artic...shall-named-head-coach-pdls-river-city-rovers I mentioned a few pages back that Tyrone Marshall was back "home" in Kentucky (went to Lindsey Wilson college & wife is a native) coaching youth soccer and being involved with PDL side River City Rovers. Well, today he was named the Rovers head coach. Smart move by RCR and Marshall. Louisville is screaming for a USL-Pro side. I've been told, by those in the know at home, that steam is picking up heavily and the interest is there. River City Rovers have explored their options and Orlando City, it's rumored, is looking to sell their USL license to a consortium from Louisville which includes one of the minority owners of Orlando City who is from Louisville. Anyway, it wouldn't surprise me in the least to see Tyrone transition this head coaching into something with the proposed, rumored, whatever you wanna call, USL-Pro team that could be coming to Louisville.
Rowdies sign former @ColoradoRapids & @FCDallas defender/midfielder Anthony Wallace ---> http://t.co/VOR1Hhxkv3 pic.twitter.com/JJK1oemKOA— Tampa Bay Rowdies (@TampaBayRowdies) February 10, 2014 [/quote] After trailing in Sweden recently Anthony has landed in the NASL I think it's a great move for Anthony. It's less risky than the trials and tribulations of Europe and it's easier for MLS clubs to keep tabs of him.
Until last year the only number above 34 was Diego Serna's 77 in 2005. Mwanga wore 55 since last year and this year Hairston took 94 and Chavez 99.
IIRC O'Neill wore 36 in 2012. I seem to remember Henao wearing a big number, MLSsoccer.com shows him as #39 which seems about right. Also, I don't believe Chavez has officially picked a number. 99 is what they assigned everyone who didn't have a number yet. I think I saw a picture of him wearing a training jersey with 81, which is what he wore in San Jose. I wonder if he actually wants 18 and he and the club are just waiting until Pickens is gone to officially assign 18 to him?
