You could buy it too, it's cheap. Well worth the money.

Probably going to sell Osvaldo in my game since he's driving me nuts with his morale always being down.

I hate that our expectations first season are semi-final europa league and top 3 in Serie A. I'm on pace for both but it's stressful having no room for error especially once the EL knockouts start.

The game's going for $30 now. I feel like waiting till FM 13 comes out 3-4 months from now though.

    I'm playing a 4-2-3-1 this time.

The transfers I made. Romario is coming in January and will instantly be slotted into the starting RB spot. Heinze and Curci will both me leaving in January too. I sent Kjaer and Marqhuino back, I might send Bojan back at the end of the season if I can find a replacement. Bocchetti and Dede have been well worth the money, the best CB pairing I have ever had. I'm going to sell Jose Angel next summer and have Dodo make the LB spot all his, right now they're splitting time. Dodo is amazing going forward. Verratti has been very good so far, starting to favor him over Gago. I hope Leali can become my keeper of the future. All of them were bought on 48 month payment plans except for Zidane and Petrucci since we have basically no funds to start with.

I'm right where I want to be in Serie A right now. Check out Lazio's standing(hint: look at the very bottom):D

My EL group is incredibly easy, look at my goal difference.

So I have made some good transfers but their all away at some U=20 tourney. So I was knocked out of french cup in the first round and lost my first game and tied the second. Really gotta find a formation here soon.

Ah that's painful. I tried that too for a while. I created what I thought was an incredible possession-based tactic. Got my ass handed to me all season, despite having on average 72% possession each game.

Yea, I usually dont have a problem, I generally play a 4 1 2 2 1 anyways but I dont know if these L2 players can handle it. It also didnt help that I really didnt set up my tactics for the team to train at all.

Who did you end up bringing in?

    So far I have gotten:
    Verratti
    Ogbonna
    Villava
    Ferrayra (sp?)
some -9 19 year old cb from Palermo
A couple of random loanees from Lyon and Lille

I am actually thinkinga bout starting from scratch again not from my results or transfers but my database is way to small.

Veronese GK (I wanted a young French gk to build around, he's French/Italian...we'll see who I let him play U20 for...muahahahahaha)

    Verratti
    Thorgan Hazard
    Remy Cabella
    Ferreyra
    Ogbonna
    Pedro Almeida (RB from Leiria)
    Wesley Said
    Martin Galvan
    Marco Fabian

Moura and Kadlec rejected me, so I'm chasing Casemiro and I went with the better potential in Ferreyra....I just wanted to try something different with Kadlec...I've bought Ferreyra before, and he turns out marvelous, but eventually my creativity in the transfer market follows the same trend and all my teams end up looking the same....so I'm trying to force myself to branch out....buy more domestic based players and different top prospects...so far I have...kind of.

O yea I also have Luis Guilherme coming in to be my keeper in January (he is a stud in FM) and Romario the young brazilian kid that turns into a stud.

I actually havent played much FM this year so I havent gone down that track of the same players (which I always have done in the past).

I did get the owner to increase the wage limit which has helped alot.

Have you realized that if you go to "edit budget" in the boardroom, you can make your 15 million transfer budget, into 37 million? And judging by the wages paid v. the wage budget, there should be another 15 million available, but you can't slide the cursor any further.

I always used to buy this kid named "Nikao" from Brazil for my youth team back in FM2010...he's a nobody now....back then, wonderkid. Amazing how things change in 2 years.

Have not adjust, I still have 6m pounds left and 300k wage budget.

Why I am thinking about restarting, I think I can didnt realize the potential.

huge potential...huge sums of money to spend...just wait until the "envious eyes were cast upon Monaco as their owner Dimitry furnished them with X million euros" story drops....or you get promoted and that dirty CL money starts rolling in.

Building Monaco into a european powerhouse and sticking it to PSG is my motivation. The beauty about the french league, unlike Spain, England, Germany, Italy, is that until PSG came along (and they failed this year, because Montpellier ended up champs with 1/5th the budget), the French league was/is wide open. Lyon and Marseille are nothing compared to fighting Barcelona, Chelsea, Bayern for first place.

Build something sustainable with good players and you'll find yourself coasting to the champions league group stage every year, and the club loving you for it. Then you'll become a club legend and if you want to move clubs, you can....but I'd just as well stick around and dominate for 10 years and then retire when I get bored.

Agreed. The only problem with Monaco which I hope is in the game is they have very small fan base, I mean very small.

They have averaged over the years like 5k a match.

Would have to check the DB but sometimes teams have capped amount of fans that will attend games.

That's when you edit the db...keeping in mind that you will be building this club up.

How much do you increase their fan base?
