Yea agree it looks awesome. If you were disappointed in Diablo look up torchlight, its a really good game and its from the actually original peopel that made Diablo, its really really good.
Football Manager, Fifa, Grand Theft Auto and Gran Turismo are my gaming foundations. I've strayed and bought others when I was younger, but I kept coming back to these 4, and now that I have more responsibilities (job/family/dog) I need to maximize my gaming time with something I really enjoy than play something "I might", but most likely will not, like.
You can't go wrong with Football manager and Fifa, GTA is good aswell. one of my fav PS3 games is Rainbow 6 vegas 2, it can't be beat imo
I've decided to resign from my position at River Plate. The management is giving me a hard time, art isn't imitating life. They are complaining we are over-budget and want me to reduce the wages. The only surefire way to do that is sell Trezeguet and Cavaneghi. It's obvious that they have no intention of biting the bullet and doing what has to be done until we are promoted to the first division. No cash injections, no scouting beyond south america, no additional physios, coaches etc, no extra money for higher wages for coaches I can sign, no feeder clubs, no improvement to training or youth facilities. Completely have my hands tied, but their goal is promotion. Well I have them in 1st place, but I'm fed up with their lack of ambition. A job just came up with AS Monaco, their owner is stupid rich and I'd rather take them back to Ligue 1 from Ligue 2 and challenge PSG euro-for-euro than sit here in Argentina with a 50 million euro debt around my neck because that's what was whoever that did River Plate in the database figured they had in debt. Adios River Plate, Allo Monaco! Just did it. Chairman of River Plate furious. Fcuk him.
YOU MADE CLAUDIO UNEMPLOYED AGAIN! I am thinking of starting another game in the second division somewhere, anybody have any suggestions? I was thinking Spain, France, or Germany.
Claudio was fired. Not my fault. Second division of France: AS Monaco, same challenge as me, but money!, Spain...Villarreal (Guiseppe Rossi)...Germany, never really floated my boat. I got 1860 Munich promoted once, but I was always second fiddle to Bayern and that irritated me (media stories, transfer targets, they bought my coaches on multiple occasions).
Never had a problem in Germany when I was Dortmund, I use to walk all over them in the league. How much budget you get at Monaco?
To start 15 million...this was enough for me to buy Kadlec (payments), Cabella (outright), Hazard (outright) and Verratti (outright). Also signed a young GK named Veronese (french/italian) for the future. (I work fast ) Have my eyes on upgrading the defence now. Also sent a scout to Brazil to start laying the seeds for a Lucas Moura swoop. But if your editor database has been updated (i.e. 12.2.2) and you have the January updates then Monaco's "sugar daddy" box is check marked and you'll be given a ton more before the season is up. If not, then go into your editor and do it yourself.
Opps, btw, that's Thorgan Hazard, not Eden. He's very good though. Hazard and Cabella play the wings, and I have Verratti in a DLP CM role. I just need a DM and AP CM and my team is set except for the back 4. Kadlec is of course my striker.
just took over fulham, they're a a decent side with some good players but a lot of clutter. im trying to get Ogbonna but its looking unlikely, he doesnt want to even negotiate a contract.
You can do a lot with Fulham, just learn how to play well with either 4-4-2 or 4-2-3-1. You can even alternate them.
yeah they have a lot of versatile players, i signed Benetia and Debuchy...im looking for a CM but havent found anyone worth bidding for, any recommendations?
Well, you should use Danny Murphy, he's still good, despite his age. If you want to pair him up with a destroyer, I'd suggest Collison, but I guess he's already gone because Aston Villa swoops pretty much in the first few days. You can try going for Adam Vass if he isn't sold too already.
Counted my chickens before they hatched. Kadlec and Moura won't negotiate with me, so I went after Erik Lamela's buddy, Facundo Ferreyra (high PA...over 170). Same price as Kadlec but he wants to play for us. Signed him til 2016 @ 400k per annum. He's going to be a lifer for us. Took a trip to Mexico and signed up Martin Galvan for sub-striker/reserves and Wesley Said (Rennes) was out of contract and could be had for 300k, signed him for the u19's. Currently in negotiations with Ogbonna, who speaks Italian...he'll be able to speak with Veronese the Italian/French GK who speaks both languages. Starting to come together a bit and I haven't even sold off players to generate revenue there...probably have about 15 million in assets I can sell now.
agree with this. rainbow6 vegas 1 was the main reason why i bought a xbox 360. and for a while, it was the only game i had on 360. coop is so fun with terrorist hunt when you're staying up with a mate. and drinking makes it so much more fun vegas 2 is even better right now and for the past 6 months i've only been playing FM12 as my sole and only video game. i don't have times for games anymore. i only get in about 2 hours of game time each day and i'd rather spend it focusing on one game rather than 5-6 different games i can't wait until the new GTA, rainbow six, and counter strike comes out though. i'm worried how i'm going to balance it all in, along with FM13. a lot of new TV show seasons coming out soon also, like breaking bad, burn notice, and dexter. i'm so glad i'm single now
Ahhhh Football Manager....the game where you control your clubs decisions and signings, an alternate reality where Roma actually CAN afford to keep Borini and buy Ogbonna, whilst their are in fact imbecile clubs willing to buy Borriello, Pizarro, Simplicio, Curci and Sergio. <sweet sweet ignorant bliss>
honestly, no one wanted to buy borriello, pizarro, simplicio, curci, and JSB from me in FM Lol. i had to pay 1/2 of borriello's wages until 2014 so he would move to palermo. pizarro wouldn't leave and no one wanted him but pizarro willingly took a pay cut. simplicio i loaned out to corinthians until his contract expired. i also had to pay curci partial wages until 2016 so he would move to barcelona. JSB also wouldn't leave but accepted a role as a part time GK coach/player. lobont i sold to dortmund for a juicy transfer fee of €0. but i did what had to be done despite some short term expenses, and i cut my wage budget by almost half. i don't want to compare my FM exploits to real life though. real life's a lot more complicated lol
Ah, you see what I did is I played the players in Coppa Italia and pre-season almost exclusively (at the risk of lack of match fitness of my real first team)....this garnered "WANT" buttons on a few of them. Then I basically set the asking price at 0 euros, with a 50% future fee clause. I'll likely get nothing for some of the players in the future, but heck, at least it worked. However, it usually doesn't work that way. Some of the other clubs I've played with get stuck with players until the contract runs out. What irritates me though is when the contract is up some of those players stick around with "CTR" buttons next to them, so they still refuse to leave even though they have no contract. That's when I tell them GTFO.
roma would be awesome IRL if transfer mechanics and player personalities were based on FM algorithms lol
But then you'd lose things like Totti ripping into the clubs owners and disagreeing with LE. #goodtimes
