Does anyone else have the Goalscoring problem with Totti in his first season with Roma? He scored something like 5-6 goals all season

It's hard to make him work in the game.

I stopped playing at half season with Roma and Totti never gave me a problem. I used to rotate him with Osvaldo and he kept scoring unlike Osvaldo so I decided to start him more often instead. Osvaldo is the worst player for me at front

I did until I changed my formation around in the last 4 games. My Zeman tactics would not download so I made my own, slightly altered. Basically the extremes of everything. Overload, high line, fast tempo, direct attacking, counter attack, zonal marking. The only true defenders are the centre backs which are set at central defenders and defend.

De Rossi is playing def mid for now but is allowed to attack. Two wing backs play alonside him. Midfield I play one box to box and an advanced playmaker.

Up front I have slightly altered Zemans attacking line. Two inside forwards playing in the attacking left and right midfield slots set as attack and totti playing as a trequartista in the centre forward position. He has scored 4 in the last 3. I have scored a goal inside the first 10 mins in the 4 games, 3 coming inside the first 2 mins. Winning all the games and only conceding 2 goals so far.

I have set the inside forwards to man mark and this has helped as well, thanks for the tip Schnix!

My wing backs are extremely tired around the 70min mark playing these tactics. So far so good and can probably tweak it about a little

i am new to FM,

just started my first season with Roma,

i started with the tactics, 4-6-0 with totti as inside forward, bojan as winger, and borini as attacking mid, and lamela as deep playmaker.

i started well, with two friendly win, both ending 3-0.

then made a back up tactic, 4-3-1-2

i am evaluating my squad.

my question is how do i recall player from a loan? searched everywhere but couldnt find.

trying to promote flornzi, caprari, verre and nego.

I don't think you can recall any players from their loans in the first season, I had this problem aswell when trying to recall some youngsters

My next project is going to be Leeds or Dinamo Zagreb but I still plan to continue with me Roma game, I'm getting attached to the youngsters and want to see their career through.

Pjanic has a lot of value and his defensive skills aren't what I'd like them to be.

Try Vittesse, the owners got the cash but the team sucks, you can get 3-4 players from the team but the rest you will build. I started with 15 mil GBP with high wage budget and signed around 13 players and still have 5 mil. Plus at half season the owners pumped another 7.5 mil and the club is recording around 3-5 mil profit per month.

Try them, they are fun

I think I am going to play as Leeds and build them with an Italian flavor similar to Wenger with Ligue 1 players at Arsenal, or Rafa with Spanish players at Liverpool.

My first target would be Inzaghi. Crespo and C.Zanetti are available for free at the start of the game so I'll look into them.

If you want check those 3 free players, Soukouna AMR/ST, Ramon CB/RB. Van Moen AML/CM

play him as an AMC, attacking midfielder, attack. he makes a lot of late runs into the box

i could never sign laziale no matter what. i signed candreva from udinese but after he moved to lazio in real life, i put him on the transfer list in FM immediately and i dropped him from the national team lol

will make my squad mostly from the youth academy. I know one day lamela and pjanic will leave, so gonna enjoy them as long as i can.

My game has been Crash Dumping ever since the update. Any time I try to search or view my shortlist, it crashes.

I'm doing good with Leeds but man do these keepers suck. I was spoiled with Stekelenburg and ter Stegen at Roma. Hopefully I can get Adler on a free.

sign hildebrand on a free. he's doing wonders for me for schalke right now. 5 clean sheet in his last 5 games. adler's hard to get. i tried signing him on a free with roma but he didn't want to move away from leverkusen

just started my russia save. started the game in february so i have a mere 4 months to prepare for the euro's

i loaded only the european nations and set all to view only except for russia. this way i can process fixtures as fast as possible





i called up the same 23 players as the real life squad, but i'll be using my own pre-made tactics from my roma/schalke saves, so 4-3-1-2 balanced, 4-2-4 attacking, and 4-5-1 defensive. i will only change players if they're injured and can't be registered for the euro's

i couldn't find a way to rig or pre-prep the UEFA draw with FMRTE or the editor, so i'll have to use randomly generated groups. sorry czechs, looks like you got replaced by the swiss

To bring back Delph for 2m or not to. That is my current debacle.
