Lol the two chances he missed against Germany werent big chances at all. For the first chance he barely reached the ball. I doubt anyone would even reach the ball(maybe if he had Bolt's speed). Most would be offside in the first place. The second chance wasnt easy at all and he is not right footed. If he scores with his right, it is a bonus. Huntelaar is a bigger flop. He can't even touch the ball during matches. Van Persie's movement and link-up play was great.

Huntelaar started one game and missed one chance vs Denmark yet he is a bigger flop than Persie who started all 3, played 90mins in all and wasted 6 glaring chances

I dont think we have a flop either, the whole team is playing well. Mueller is playing below average however, and needs to step up big time.

It is not 6 glaring chances. It was 2-3 vs Denmark and that's all. Huntelaar played the whole second half against Germany and the 90 min vs Portugal and he barely touched the ball. Van Persie's movement and link-up play was brilliant. Playing with Huntelaar was like playing with 10 men. So yes he was worse. At least Van Persie created chances for himself and for others.

I'd say Podolski is the flop moreso than Muller but both are the two that a tad below everyone's else standard. Podolski was diabolical 1st match, again for the 2nd match in a row Germany's weakest player but was very good 1st half for the 3rd game. Muller started two goals has bright ideas but sometimes he really looks clueless out there.

I don't think any of the players are Flops TBH.
Not even the guys who haven't played...for quite obvious reasons

Mertsacker? Mr. Defense is not even in the lineup. Should that not be considered a flop?

Lol i was going to point him out but then thought why be harsh :p

He hasn't played so you can't say he's flopped (even though i wouldn't even like him in the squad TBH). What about Howedes? Guy is class but hasn't even played. There are only going to be 2 CB's so you can't call the rest that don't play flops. This poll is harsh!!!

Podolski means "flop" in Polish. It would be redundant.

The only real flop is Podolski. The rest have all done well or surpassed expectations.

Me too. You would then see the Gomez-haters and how wrong they were. Of course, they will never admit it.

My vote was Mersacker. While calling him a flop is harsh since he did not play, the fact he lost his position when he, and many others, expected him to play makes him a flop.

Ummm, I voted for gomez and he totally suprised me.. Most of the people who voted gomez was based on his performance in the NT.

Exactly my point. You thought he would flop, he didn't, that would make you wrong. You may call it "surprised" or try to justify it some other way, but when a guy had the season he had there was little chance he would flop.

Heck, using your "NT performance" excuse, Hummels should be a flop too. Opps, wrong there too.

Most non-haters knew Gomez would perform if given the chance. Funny thing is he plays for your team and I spent more time defending him than you did. Go figure.

Anyone can go back and read how you dissed Gomez when I defended him. Everyone knows you are full of shiite and picked Gomez to fail. That would make you wrong, but admitting that just ain't in your personality. If anyone was owned it is you...and you know it but try to play it off like the bully who got shown up on the play ground trying to save face.

Keep posting. You have no idea how much comedy you bring into the lives of others.

This is the problem of you... You think you are important and I value your posts... I am afraid you either had mother issues or you were touched when you were a kid. In any case, I suggest you see someone ..

Hahahaha...this from you? Please keep posting. We all know you were infantile, but the "mother" comment just seals it.

Does not take away from you being wrong, now does it. ;)
