Good point, artillery does not pay for itself. Maybe he was not logistically prepared even though he flew in that area before?

See, he should've listened, or at least attempted an annoying, ridiculous threadjack in the Artillery N&A forum that the artillery mods would've moved out into its own ridiculous thread in the Artillery Fans forum.

My brother lives in Dallas, the poor guy, but he knows someone in the Waldo Inferno and he says they've been checking this thread and are going to get their own "character" flag. I got my bro to forward me the design. Unbelievable.

If not Che, one wonders who TxBill would have us use as a model for social justice...

maybe this guy, he's South American.

what txbill, atpag and other critics of the Che flag don't understand is that Latin America has always experienced violent suppressive governments/revolutions on both left and right of the political spectrum. so for every atrocity committed by Che, Fidel or Hugo there is a counter atrocity on the right commited by Pinochet, military junta in 1970's Argentina or "Papa Doc" Duvalier.

i personally love to talk about this sht, so if anyone offended by the Che flag wants to discuss buy me a coffee or a couple of beers at the Mezz and i will talk your ear off. i don't get angry with Americans anymore like I use to, I understand how living in a democracy with Iowa caucases, "W" stickers and lawn signs advertising your political affiliation can cloud your understanding of other unstable regions esp Latin America. trust me no one was driving around Chile in the 70's or 80's with a anti-Pinochet sticker and conversely no one had an anti-Che sticker in 1960's Cuba. but neither side is completely right and neither side is completely innocent.

Look, if we are going to make signs of crooks and thieves, might as well and go all out and do the biggest two of them all....

    Check these out for ideas:

Crest on the upper left: My City Crest on the upper right: My Home or Heritage (in this case State of Saxony)

    Text upper: Dynamo my love
    Text lower: Saxony my home

    What do you all think?

The bottom one kinda reminds me of Club America. I think a German flag or saying would be good.

    Jetzt geht's los!

    Houston meine Heimat
    Dynamo meine Liebe

    Ich blute Orange ?

That would be good...top flag with bottom's words. Make it for Houston in orange and black and you got a great flag.

    Just a thought...

I also like the skyline approach. Houston has a very distinctive skyline with several buildings that have a notable profile.

Yup. And make it as one of our large flags, too.

I've got one that I made for the last game. It is on a twin size sheet....couldn't really hold it myself the whole time and I was cutting into my friends beer drinking. I can take a pic of it tonight and post it if you are interested.
