FK Sarajevo, is a professional football club based in Sarajevo, the capital city of Bosnia-Herzegovina and is one of the most popular clubs in the country.


Founded on October 24, 1946, the club was the most successful club from SR Bosnia and Herzegovina in former Yugoslavia, winning two First League titles and finishing 6th in that competition's all-time table.[2] Today, FK Sarajevo is one of the most prominent members of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian Premier League, where it has won one Premier League championship and four Cups.

Good start, beating Sloboda Tuzla 2-1 at home. It'll take some time for this squad to get rolling and for Plisek to assert himself, but I think they'll do it sooner rather than later. I can definetly see Sarajevo winning the title in all honesty like Zeljo did when they had a new manager and completely new squad.

Anyways, very disappointing end to the European campaign but I'll always remember Orebro in Sarajevo, that was so epic.

We've got a nice team this season, very young and could improve and grow nicely.

Please don't tell you're one of those FK Sarajevo fans that bragged about a 7-0 aggregate loss to Zeljeznicar?

The team is really good, obviously, and for some reason, I love your goalie - Dino Hamzic. There's something about him that I like, but can't put my finger on...

Plisek is gonna be a great coach for Sarajevo, I can't argue with anything the guy has said so far in his interviews.

We play against newly promoted GOSK Gabela tonight. Should be a fairly easy win for us, but you never know with this clown league.

No I didnt drive 3+ hours to see some fail ass team get demolished. If this was a home game, I would have been there for sure, but Gosk Gabela isnt worth the drive lol.

Used to. I went from Zeljo as a kid, to FKS as a teen, back to Zeljo. lol

Suljic scored for Sarajevo today, I have a feeling that this season will be Asmir Suljics breakthrough season, the kid can run like a horse his stamina is unbelievable he just has to work on his strength and his shooting and he will be a name for the national team! I cant believe he wasent called for the u-21 national team
