If these results don't prove it to the Polish FA that he is competent to run that National Team, well...................

This is what an on-the-field leader does for a team. Higuain and Arrieta have shown these guys how to play futbol. I couldn't be happier. Permit me to mix up my Italo-Argentine soccer preferences for a moment: Forza Crew Sud America.

This is how you play soccer. You play soccer with balls.

I have exactly the same amount of professional-level managerial experience as Caleb Porter, likely have more connections in Argentina, and can be hired for a fraction of the price. Let's do this.

You coached the U-23's for a few months? (All but one were full professional players.)

    Yes, pedantry. Suck it.

RW (when DiVaio scored): Shit. Where is my coaching for dummies book? Need a refresher on how to make a sub... also, have to put Vukovic back in the dog house... need a forward to replace him...

RW (when Higuain and Marshall levelled the match): Holy shit! Who gave permission for a set piece goal? I thought we were done with that when I kicked Guille to the curb.

RW (when Higuain spun the ball off of Renteria's dome to win the match): Why isn't he running to the corner flag? Kill the game.... oh, oh, OH! GOAL! Oh wow!!!! (Yells at Vuk) You're one lucky mother ********er, Nemanja!!!! It would have been all your fault!

We are back to the way it used to be with RS and GBS.

two goals, one from a set piece, one from the run of play.

We are looking dangerous from dead balls and so we may find that opposition teams will play them differently (i.e marking Marshall out). It is possible that height in the box at the attacking end fo the field is why williams has seen a lot of minutes lately.

Is confidence in our strikers the reason for our change in fortunes, or has our style of play or player instruction changed?

    Welcome back everybody!

Man no way anyone could have predicted a bunch of tired players would stink up the joint that bad. Yup, goodness knows that running the same old squad out was the right choice. No way Chad needed a rest, huh?
