Andrew was in Sec 8 and said a proven goal scorer would be announced from Europe tonight or tomorrow. Speculate away.
Re: Striker signed I'm guessing Alex de Lima. http://www.hottimeinoldtown.com/2012/4/12/2944425/chicago-fire-rumor-mill-alex-de-lima
Re: Striker signed "De Lima, of Swiss 2nd division club F.C. Wohlen" Not exactly what I was hoping for.
Re: Striker signed Mike Jefferies was asked about an "Alex" (no last name) during the pregame coach's talk and said this would be a big week.
Re: Striker signed Should I be concerned that a google search first uncovers the Fire rumor, but then produces a Linkedin page for an Orange County senior account manager at Alliance Funding Group, a case study on sustaining business success in the face of a changing environment, a facebook page for Alex de Lima who works at Saudi Aramco after studyin at the Automotive Training Center (and who has some hot friends), and a couple of YouTube videos of Brazilian pop music before you get to Alex De Lima the footballer (with little info on simulator and no mention of the Swiss 2nd division)? The Alex de Lima that I did find was on loan at BATE Borisov in Belarus, making 11 appearances and scoring no goals. They do, however, list him as a forward. Okay, looked at the link posted by Hottime in Old Town. It appears to be the same guy. He has a market value that is only slightly higher than mine and has scored 3 goals in 21 games in all competitions. A rate of a goal every 7 games in the Swiss second division. His teeth do, however, appear to be worse than Tevez, so maybe there is hope.
Re: Striker signed Alexander Frei is out of contract with Basel this summer. Still has a high strike rate both in domestic and continental competitions. He is the only Alex in Europe I could find that you would consider important and could be a possible MLS target.
Re: Striker signed That would be a decent pick up assuming he is and will be healthy. He has scored boatloads of goals everywhere he has gone.
Re: Striker signed EXCLUSIVE: chris rolfe on the move again Wrong Side of the Pond Maybe Chris Rolfe?
Re: Striker signed "Buzz out of Chicago is Chris Rolfe is coming back to the Fire. They need the attacking help." Retweeted by Taylor Twellman a few minutes ago...

Re: Striker signed This makes me very happy....I *loved* Chris Rolfe. It's been a bit, but hopefully he'll bring that same scrappy attitude I loved about him.
