Anyone annoyed that the picture is of "Fire Soccer Club" and is not a picture of the "Toyota Park" sign?
Anyone notice in that Grazzini article how it mentions that Puppo is a DP? Very odd. Perhaps a tag the Fire put on him to keep extra cap space available? Who knows.
No MLS determined he was a dp not because of his salary but because of the transfer fees paid by the fire.
The Fire paid a transfer fee for him? Wow. How about we not go after anymore Uruguayan players that aren't named Diego Forlan. I hope we didn't pay much.
Considering he's a DP because of the tranfer fee, then yes...... http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/soccer/ct-spt-0621-bits-fire-chicago--20120621,0,4636881.story Love it, bringing the 25-year-old Uruguayan forward along slowly.
