me too, I was shocked!

I'm ordering a Sounders jersey from my credit card points, so if you see someone wearing a Sounders jersey in Auburn/Birmingham/Alabama you'll know who it is since I'll probably be the only one who owns one in the South.

I was eating at Wendy's the other day and the paper thing that ges on the trays had a huge advertisement for the RBNY/Fire game coming up. It was pretty cool to see anything soccer related in my area. It's pretty "backwoods" if you know what I mean. It's also pretty far from NYC. most people around here support Philly teams.


I also bought a 2008 RBNY jersey at Marshall's in tom's river for $25 yesterday. that was cool.

I saw a beckham LA galaxy jersey and a USMNT jersey at a class (school) in Brazil like 3 months ago.

At the Coachella Music Festival a few weeks back, I ended up standing next to a guy in a Miami Fusion jersey while watching Thievery Corporation.

I offered him 60$ cash right there for it. But he refused. I think he thought I was some drugged-out weirdo.

saw a guy at warped tour last year in a colombus crew jersey.

saw a guy on campus(IU) in a fire jersey, wanted to talk to him but was running late.

and i work in a dining hall of a dorm and a girl came down in a crew jacket once. i wanted to hate her, and told her that i couldn't because at least she liked MLS. she agreed. i wish i could end the story saying we fell in love but...

I just saw a guy walking around the Leipzig city center wearing a Sounders lime green jersey.

Saw a hispanic family at work with two toddlers...one decked out in a Beckham Shirt, another in a CUSA shirt

Bizarre stuff, man.

I didn't take these pictures but someone else did and it illustrates what I said about the massive amount of Sounders gear here. It's not anything to see people wearing the Rave green. Sounders stuff is in the malls here and it sells out quickly. The store you see here is a baseball one mostly this time of year but even they see the color of money, and it's color is rave green.

We're everywhere. There are actually Sounders FC supporters groups starting up in Idaho, California and other places. Crazy huh?

wow you guys are amazing!!!!! you're probably the first MLS team to have supporters groups/fans in other states!!!!!! you guys can even buy a jersey in a real-life sporting goods store in your town!!!! that must be another first for a MLS team!!!!! i never see Dynamo gear ANYWHERE in Houston!!!! how do i become a seattle sounders fan. please help!!!!!

It's cool that they are selling Sounders gear in the malls, but they don't usually have enough supply. I want to get a medium jersey, but they usually only have between L and 2XL because they sell too rapidly.

One thing I noticed was that the only gear for other teams I've seen is for LA Beckham. That will probably be the case for the long run.

I did notice at Target that they had DCU (and Fire, I think) soccer balls, but that's it for other teams here.

I liked the earlier post about someone in Brazil with a US jersey. That is a reverse of the usual.

I guess I'm kind of late to this thread but I go to the University of Iowa and I've probably seen a few of the clubs represented. I work with a hard core Revs fan and he wears his scarf everywhere he goes when it's cold (it's nice to be able to actually talk MLS with a real live person). The past month or so I've seen Chicago Fire (there are a few supporters here), a guy walking to class in a Sounders shirt, and I've noticed a few people in my lectures with Rapids gear on.

Before i got on the bus to DC for last nights open cup game. Me and my freind went to subway in penn station in manhattan. One of the guys who worked there, saw our red bull jerseys and he was a fan, and talked to us about last weeks game and that nights DC game.

This is probably deep within this thread somewhere, but I was just watching She's All That ::hands in mancard:: and there's a scene where some freestyle rappers are flowing in the high school courtyard about the candidates for prom queen for some reason (srsly, where do they get this stuff?). Anyway, the big dude beatboxing was wearing some sort of training jersey with an MLS patch on the side. I think it was yellow and black...Crew perhaps?

I had a funny moment the other day at the supermarket. I was wearing my Joseph Revs' away jersey and I noticed that a guy and his wife kept following me around. It got kind of creepy until the women tapped me on the shoulder and said "Hi we are Vicki and Stuart from Maryland and we are just shocked to see a Revs fan in Myrtle Beach!" I was relieved that the only creepy thing about them was they are DC United fans.(kidding, they are very nice) I did mention that I was going to put this on this page and they laughed.
