Here is hoping Del Bosque starts with more width and a striker. I thought we were at our best versus Italy when we had Navas and Torres in there.

I thought so as well. So I suggest the 6 man midfield again.;)

Spain are the favorites, but Italy can definitely win. I was shocked they managed to pull it out against Germany (though I'd be less surprised if they beat Spain).

Anyway, a very unenthusiastic "Go Italy" from me.

Congrats to Italy for beating a very good team.

Now beat Spain. They have an atrociously boring type of football. For the sake of the sport, do the world a favour and kick that tika taka bullsh*t out of the tournament.

    Forza Italia!

If he's not going to start Llorente (which i'm pretty sure he won't), then he should start with Cesc since Torres has been useless so far and Negredo has shown that he isn't any better.
However, Pedro should start in place of Silva imo

Not so long ago, it was the italians who were accused of being boring, cheats, and divers. Now spanish football has turned them from villains into heroes lol. Everyone cheering for italy? what world are we living in.

Italy and spain match up very well, and I look forward to this game. Regardless i think we can all be proud of or teams, regardless who wins this final. PLEASE NO PENALTIES, that's all i ask for

“Italy can win the Euros, because Spain are not the same side as two years ago. They reached the Final thanks to an easier group and penalties.

“Do not let yourself be conned by the four goals against the Republic of Ireland. The reality is Spain don’t know how to score and Italy can beat them.”

I generally agree, but a bit of flawed logic there, they were in the same group Carlos :D

The only fans I can't stand more than the Italians are the Spanish.

Most important variable I'm looking at right now, is italy's stamina, and how long will it hold up.

It's not about the fans, but the boring tikitas or whatever style that is killing games with potential.

Sure, that's what gives Spain the double whammy.

I don't dislike Italy's football at all, I'm very impressed with how they have played.

Spain however is the whole package of loathing. Their arrogant stance on constant tiki taka and refusal to acknowledge playing without strikers is NOT good. And refusal to acknowledge they don't have an end product.

If you criticise Spain you're a philistine. Bollocks.

Please God do not win Euro 2012 or we will never hear the end of it. Their heads will explode with Ego and claims of greatest team ever.

It's actually far more the Spanish media than the fans I can't stand.

And I'll be ecstatic if it keeps killing games if we win.

Probably Spain will win this, unfortunately.

Portugal was all tired after having marked Spain in the regular time. So, imagine this Italy after having played two tough games trying to do the same thing...

    Nobody can criticise Spain's results.

But I just want to headbutt Xavi and Iniesta at every press conference and post match interview.
    Their arrogance is sickening.

When do they ever acknowledge they deserve to lose or that there are other ways to play football? They never give the opposition any credit.

The sight of those two lifiting the cup will actually make me puke a little in my mouth :D

Heh, well no offense but I hope you puke in your mouth on Sunday ;)

Anyway, only thing I can add is that I believe we can play with a little more pace and width but still get the results. But Del Bosque has been one of the most conservative coaches I've ever seen, even worse than Clemente.

haha to be honest I will puke if either Italy or Spain win.

Great Euro2012 this is for me :D

It may surprise people but many British people wanted Germany to beat Italy and Spain. England fans only really hate Germany when they play England.
