CAn someone fill me up with this fifa rankings, dosent the ranking supposed to be based in winning games? . I realize australia lossing 40 points isnt loggical simply because they have not lose a lot of games the past month, Korea lossing 42 cant be explained either and whats up with saudi and japan i dont think they had identical record the past month to be giving the same amount of points. And can someone explain to me how iran ended up with plus 86 points?
Australia lost two matches to Iraq and China and only won one last counting month. Iran won 4 World Cup qualifiers.
Australia won 2 (Iraq at home and Qatar away). Losing games doesn't mean you lose points - just means you don't get any. Australia would have lost points because games in June of '07, '06 and '05 are now worth less and June '04 disappears.
Australia got ranking points for beating Iraq at home in the June rankings ! http://www.fifa.com/associations/association=aus/ranking/gender=m/index.html You dont get rankings points but you normally lose ranking points when losing because you have to divide the number of points for a year with the number of matches played , example 1000 points divided by 10 matches in 100 ranking points but divided by 12 matches is ranking points 83 points. I agree that losing points also could be devaluation in previous years results.
FIFA August ranking : 35 Japan down 1 38 Australia up 2 45 Iran down 8 52 Saudi Arabia down 3 53 Korea Rep - 55 Uzbekistan - 67 Bahrain up 5 71 Qatar up 9 76 Iraq down 18 88 Oman down 2 94 Korea DPR - 97 China PR down 14 99 Syria up 3 http://www.fifa.com/worldfootball/r...fullranking.html#confederation=25998&rank=172
The way FIFA rankings work, results are worth less as time goes on. So Iran could have dropped because a great performance in a summer tournament from 2006 or 2007 suddenly became discounted. I'm actually not aware of any full national teams from the FIFA top 100 playing this past month (other than North Korea at the Challenge Cup), so all movement is due to discounting of results from previous summers.
Shewbakm dosent have a yellow card, you have one. I have been reading alot of post in this forum and you keep on picking on him and saying his hindu........guess what his better simply because you are racist.... I hate when people fight. Nimro you should try to get a life and lay for a while you racist. You never came up with an objective answer and most of the time it leads to unhealty argumets.
What is so funny? Anyways apparently a mod have said to me that we have the ability to switch our yellow cards. Could you switch your yellow card off? I'll switch on just to show you it could be done. Some mods.
