"The boys are back and Brazil is gonna be in trouble, hey now,hey now The Boys are back!" Segurito que The Boys in Black are gonna take the W,we've been known to slay the "giant" Brazil many times before and why should this be any different? I have faith in our boys :D

Feeling confident about this one. I think Mexico is more balanced than Brazil, and if Brazil doesn't score early, Mexico will have the advantage by an extra day of rest. Not to mention Mexico is the more physically imposing team. It's odd to see the Brazilian looking so young and small at this level. It's like the tables are turned.

Brazil looked pretty dangerous in counterattacks against Spain. Despite Spain's advantage of possession, the Brazilians manage to deliver effective runs/attack throughout the game.

The good thing about Mexico is that it seems like their defense is really, really solid now. So, I don't think Brazil would be offensively dangerous like with Spain against Mexico. (But then again, we are prone to deliver bad passes and the Brazilians may capitalize our errors).

    VAMOS MEXICO!!

The biggest factor in this game is going to be our attack. If they manage to be more consistent and score when the opportunities arise then we will win. Our best and most consistent players all tournament have been the defenders, so I don't see them Brazil getting past them very often. Asi es que a darle con todo inche Cubo, Davila, Pulido, y Rivera.

Lineups from the Mexico-Brazil matchup in the U17 WC 2 years ago. Interesting to see who repeats.

I don't understand the point of this thread if everyone is going to continue using the other one as the game day and post game thread.

    Anyway....Viva Mexico!

Mexico has been consistently ascending throughout this tournament, and therein lies our greatest strength...confidence. It seems that the most dangerous Mexico is a Mexico filled with confidence and much like the sub-17 before them, its been building up to the point that our players are convinced that no one can stop them, and i love that thought.
