Hey guys. I've having trouble finding a place that isn't crazy expense for two nights in Fortaleza. My wife and I are arriving in Fortaleza at 1am on the 17th, going to game then flying out the 18th. So we only need to crash two nights. Anyone have an extra room where they are staying? If so, PM me and we can perhaps work something out. thanks
why dont you simply rent an RV,get a group together and spend less on transport and zero on hotels,you can drive from city to city at an absolute minimum.

Finally booked my flights and some of my hotels.. Here is my complete itinerary We will be arriving in Recife on the 19th 7:40pm, hopefully finding a good shuttle/bus to Porto De Galinhas, Found a nice little Hotel with a great view fairly cheap. around $200 a night.. Attending Costa Rica VS Italy game in RECIFE on the 20th (taking the Tica wife will be awesome.. still wearing la verde) Then beach/relax time for 3 days... watching games and drinking Attending Mexico vs Croatia game in Recife Oh yea! Flying out from Recife to RIO on the 24th at 3am!! OUCH In RIO for 2 days, Copacabana beach, Going the France vs Ecuador game in the Maracana and checking out the Christ Statue place.. Hotels are expensive in RIO, (when you have two people) found this ADULTS ONLY hotel and booked it. I hope it's not some swinger place or something.. lol Flying out from Rio to Fortaleza on the 26th 3;45pm Staying 4 days and watching games on tv. enjoying the beaches and people ( will be booking my hotel tomorrow) Ending the trip attending R16 match 51 in Fortaleza HOPING it's a MEXICO vs SPAIN/NETHERLANDS Flying back from Fortaleza at 7pm on the 30th If anyone wants to meet up in Recife or Fortaleza let me know.. Specially if there are ways he can carpool to games or grab a some drinks.. cheers
true true.. Mex vs Australia would be better But since we are in just HOPE stage here.. Mex vs spain and winning would be my favorite scenario Regardless.. I better take my heart medicine, I almost died when in the stadium when we lost in CR last year.
We're renting cars in Natal and Fortaleza. Nothing but stick available but I have that covered. I've driven plenty in Mexico so I anticipate the same kind of wild free-for-all. Only wish I had more than a week.
hey guys. I've been talking to a guy that owns a tourist agency in natal. He told me yesterday that there is lots of talk that all flights going into Natal Augusto Severo airport which is like 15 km from town are likely going to be moved to a new airport that is 50km from town. He said they are expecting a decision in April. That said, he sets up pickups at airports also, I'm planning on booking with him but if the flights get moved to new aiport the fee will be like $90 for up to 4 people. My flight is currently set to arrive at 11:15am on the 11th in Natal. Anyone else on that Tam flight or getting in at same time and want to split a pickup into town? PM me.

Ok guys my friends and I will be in Pipa: from June 8 to June 19 (group of 5 us) in Natal: from June 19 to July 02 (group of 8 us) We have a pretty busy schedule! so we def. need a car to go back and forth (Natal-Fortaleza-Recife) Following Mexico even though we only got tickets for Croatia game (so far) we are also attending to 5 other matches... I would appreciate some info if anybody has any on car-rentals please..
My first time posting in BigSoccer. My son and I are going to Brazil, should be booking flights this week Arriving in Natal late on June 12, looking for a place to stay until June 16. Going to Mexico vs Cameroon and US, Ghana. Moving to Fortaleza late on June 16 or early on June 17 to make the Brazil vs Mexico game. Staying in Fortaleza from June 17 to June 22. Moving to Recife on June 22 and spending the night somewhere there to attend the Mexico vs Croatia game. Then back to Natal for Italy vs Uruguay on June 24. Fly home late on June 24. We have a couple of extra tickets for Mexico vs Cameroon and Mexico vs Croatia plus the R16 2A vs 1B in Fortaleza on June 29 that we cannot stay for. Looking to maye trade tickets for accommodations and/or travel between cities. Hope to meet many of you there.

Anybody that could recommend me a good/reliable car rental company? My friends and I will be needing a big car, maybe a van. BTW special shout out to @clubamericalara for coming thru with the hostel link. I just booked a night in Fortaleza for after the Brazil game.
Anyone else having problem getting their credit card chrged from the hotels?? It's been 2 weeks since I booked my hotels and they haven't charged it.
i wish i was going just out of curiosity about how much is expected to be spent on hotel, flight and tickets? just a ballpark number i don't need exact figures. Would appreciate it
