I placed my application for the group stage games for Mexico, can't miss more work or I would have applied for at least the 5 game package. Who else applied for tickets on FIFA site? As of today, all three categories for Mexico have 'medium demand" I selected Category 1, but did also select that if i'm not picked for category 1 i would take category 2 or 3 tickets.
I applied. I went ahead and applied for tickets through the quarterfinals. I'm optimistic they will make that quinto partido.

Plane tickets should be pretty expensive to Brasil, especially since the WC is there next year and its summer. I also heard you need a Visa to enter Brasil? or would they just lift that for next year and let thousands of people from all over the world in lol
If you are traveling with a U.S. passport, then yes you need a Visa. If you have a Mexican passport, luck is on your side: Eliminan visa para México-Brasil. This agreement between Mexico and Brazil came about in anticipation of the World Cup and the Olympics. Who knows if other countries will look for similar arrangements.
Awesome, dont have a Mexican passport though just my US one. Maybe i can just get a Mexican passport and go to Brasil
My application was successful....2 x Mexico Cat 3 TST-5. The next phase is first come first serve which starts on monday, but I dont think TST's will be available for that phase. The next lottery is in December i believe, after the WC draw

I decided this time around to play it by ear on the Mexico tickets, and just get location specific tix. I'll watch Recife matches and play it by ear on other games once they hold the draw.
I think fifa was releasing tickets only on the draw for teams that haven't qualified. I haven't seen or heard of anyone buy tickets from the second round. Does anyone know of anyone that bought tickets yesterday on teams that haven't qualified? I had people that got in the minute it was open and all of the Mexico tickets were not available. There is no way they gave all of Mexico's tickets on the draw.
