This is my pick (remember it) Group A: 1)Brazil 2)Croatia Group B: 1) Holland 2) Chile (Yes I said it, the spanish team is done, it will be an upset, they are too old, Del Bosque won't overhaul the squad) Group C: 1) Colombia 2) Ivory Coast Group D: 1) Italy 2) Uruguay Group E: 1) France 2) Swiss Group F: 1) Argentina 2) Iran ( I believe in Queiroz) Group G: 1) Germany 2) USA Group H: 1) Belgium 2) Russia
Group A Brazil, Mexico Group B Spain , Netherlands Group C Colombia, Japan Group D Uruguay, Italy Group E Switzerland, Ecuador Group F Argentina, Nigeria Group G Germany, Ghana Group H Belgium, Korea
Tough choice, but yes. Korea's scrappy. Plus they got in the 2nd round of the last one so they have that experience. Easily. What has Ivory Coast done?
Lebanon beat Korea, come on man! Cote D'Ivoire they have their go to guy Yaya, Tiote is back looking good, Bony is looking good, Their midfield is solid, and their backs are better. Japan's center backs, they leak goals as we saw in the Fed cup.
Interesting draw... group E is absolutely wretched mind, and C also isn't great. I wonder what those who think there's a conspiracy theory to hype up Messi make of Argentina's draw.
I wonder how The Sun will react to this: ..............ITaly ...............Uruguay .....Costa Rica ....EnglanD
Given how poorly this season is going I'm willing to declare it a wash and fast-forward to this tournament.
Portugal is not as good as everyone thinks... I believe the US will beat Ghana, Draw Germany and Draw Portugal. I mean the draw for the US has Hollywood script written all over it. Ghana forced us out the last two World Cups, Klinsman facing his old team and there is the Ronaldo factor as well. Tough but not impossible draw for the US.
I could see us losing to Ghana in the opening game, taking a scalp and 3 points from one of the other 2. Then losing a must-win and crashing out.
Portugal is as good as everyone thinks. People seem to think like that because they didn't qualify comfortably, losing points to mediocre NTs but in the past few tournaments they have performed well. Their CB pairing are one of the best, physically strongest pairings of Europe They have other good footballers such as Moutinho, Nani, Veloso, Coeñtrao, Patricio and upcoming talents like Bruma, W. Carvalho and Ilori. And Ronaldo. Germany won't be playing with their C team this time, so I doubt you the US can possibly draw against them. I think USA and Ghana are going to fight for the 3rd spot.
