This whole thing could probably have been done in the time it took for that intro video.

I'll be following from my computer. They probably won't do the draw until after noon.

I had plans to make it for my second World Cup in a row, but unfortunately I would have to give this a miss. It's going to be ridiculously expensive!! Won't be on the same money value of South Africa, however this will be one cracking World Cup!!

To add to that, I don't think I could get the same connections with a free ticket to a quarter final and final.

Might just do a Europe summer!

So far a lot of nothing groups. The final pot is where we'll get minor drama.

This is a pretty even draw in terms of being competitive. aside from groups A and F i dont see where you have a clear group result to speak of. Argentina should do the business and Brazil as well. Either the groups of multiple powerhouses and a competitive supporting cash (eg Group D) or all the teams are of similar (maybe slightly lower) levels (eg group H) which will still be competitive as no one is clear head and shoulders above everyone else.

    should be fun WC!

Difficult for England and they will go in as third favourites, but then it was always going to be difficult given Englands current standing. Unlikely, but not impossible. The worst case scenario would have been group A or B. ..

..and yes...USA are going to struggle I think.

I'll put US at a 5 to 8 percent chance of advancing. I'm predicting a certain loss against Portugal. Germany, with Klinnsmann and the German born American members of the Basterds, I mean squad, there could be a potential upset (I would consider a tie an upset as well). Ghana also seems to have the US's number in World Cups, so that's not positive either.

Other groups, fairly even. Spain and Netherlands will both advance as their competition is a bit wonky. I see England or Italy missing out with Uruguay, my guess would be England. I think Suarez will give them a torrid time more so than anybody else. Group C is really a toss up. Anybody could come out of that group, and it'll be perhaps the most interesting to watch in terms of how it plays out.

I also see Mexico advancing, so you're welcome for that.
