Actually I do understand what baseball is about, but it's not my cup of tea.

Baseball is awesome when you care just like soccer.

It's 90 percent national pride for me. That WBC v japan was hella entertaining. Watching Manchester United post park is almost as monotonous as an mlb playoff game with no Korean players.

 

for me, i appreciate a good baseball game even without a korean player in the mix. i'm a hardcore mets fan and always hoping for another run at world series if possible. we were close in 2000 and 06 to winning one. but i would trade both my mets, jets' chance for to play in the world series or super bowl for a chance for our national team to win the world cup.

 

Without rok the upcoming World Cup, all world cups, would be as meaningful as an afternoon snack for me. Not necessary but holds me over until the next real meal.

I'm going to go watch my first dodgers game... When ryu pitches. Else I'm going surfing.
