I haven't been all that keen on Moyes but he's shown good resource management at Everton. The only question is will he show these same qualities when given more resources or will he blow his load and come down with ABM syndrome.

I will say that the timing of the hip surgery was a bit suspicious in retrospect, given that it is not a small surgery ever and especially at his age. But man .... to think someone else could be out there, while always being an obvious and near possibility, is hard to fathom.
If Moyes is involved as an assistant it's obviously with a guarantee to transition on to manager on a given time scale. I will just ignore this now. See what happens tomorrow.
