I think he'll do good in Mexico. The Mexican League is a great league for above average Ecuadorian Footballers.

^ that is if he can get in front of Montero, Benitez, Caicedo, Rojas, and Jaime Ayovi. I think these 5 guys are the main candidates Rueda has in mind. Borja is gonna have to impress BIG TIME in Puebla and even more if he gets a chance with the NT. He's missed a ton of years that he could have had with the NT and he's 27 now. We'll just have to wait and see.

Do you think Pablo Palacios is shit? I'm talking about the 2008 Palacios.

Anybody can have a wonder season in this league. He never was of my liking. Take a look at that list and tell me how easy it is to score in here. Put any of those guys in top leagues and they won't get more than 5.

If you would have said yes, then i would have said Borja could possibly be a god over Palacios.

And your right about that. being a top goal scorer even in the Mexican league which is better than ours doesn't guarantee a good goal scoring average in a top european club either. actually, out of all our forwards in most recent years, Felipe Caicedo probably has the best goal scoring average in a top european league. An ecuadorian player being a top goal scorer anywhere in europe is uncommon. The last time I remember one of our players going above 10 was Felipe Caicedo's season in Basel and one of Segundo Castillo's seasons in Red Star Belgrade.

    Buen debut.

2 days ago Puebla was already renegotiating with Borja to extend his contract with them and all he needed to do was sign. Now all of the sudden I hear this guys coming back to Ecuador.

Let me guess, he wants to join Deportivo Quito so that he can have a spot in the NT.

I saw the game that Pachuca beat America 2-0. 2 great goals by Felix "el canguro" Borja. I did not like the fact that he put on that mask and got a yellow card for doing so. It would have been bad enough for him to dance or whatever he was doing after scored his first goal of that game. His performance looked better than "El Chucho".

As long as it's not to the NT. He never does anything there.
