2) why so scared to use arguments? i say that is bad option, because he isnt used by pekerman in tha position and since once caldas and barcelona he played in a different position ( like 5 years ago)

Just think he is a good option for James. I also think experimenting with Zuniga, Cuadrado or Ibarbo would be interesting.

Is Alcatraz available for the match? Maybe Arias but he may not ready to be called up so that is probably a no go.

I would think replacing a guy like James is hard enough but we need pace/speed agility upfront. Soto, I like more for that MF role that Aldo/Mac have been sharing. But for an attacking midfielder with similar characteristics I think we have only a few to choose from: Cuadrado and Ibarbo would fit the bill well because they share similar traits and positioning. As for JFQ we need to give a bit more time. He's VERY young. Even James was given the task to carry the sub20 before he was given the NT. I would rather have Pabon give it a try although I know he's not playing at this top level at the moment. The only 'kind of good' news would be that if James misses the Bolivia match we should still be able to win this match at home. Against Vzla getting points away would be a tougher proposition but also doable.

 

Darwin can play the left side too but is more of a right sided player.

no siempre se tiene que cambar posicion por posicion, se puede cambiar el esquema y mas cuando tenemos jugadores versatiles

 

El reemplazo "natural" de James en seleccion es JFQ y como Pekerman va a estar en el sub20 observando pelaos.. pues JFQ tiene oportunidades de ganarse la convocatoria pal 6 de Febrero

JFQ es zurdo natural y es mas 10 ( osea de jugar por el medio) pero creo en Nacional jugo al lado de Macnelly y no creo que lo haya sentado... en Italia ademas le toca defender por eso creo que Pekerman si lo usa, lo pondra de reemplazo de James...

Es que tambien pensando a largo plazo... James AUN no tiene un reemplazo en nuestra seleccion y hay que irselo buscando pa casos como este de lesiones o expulsiones etc

It might be but It's less than a month away and there's no info on the venue , ticket prices etc.. Usually these games are advertised everywhere with months in advance .. Not sure how they expect a good crowd if they start selling tickets the week before the game.
