According to the president of P. Ferreira, Antunes is being chased by Serie A and Ligue 1 clubs.

As of today Geraldo Alves is an AEK player. Is he as good as his brother? Any info on him is appreciated.

    Paços de Ferreira garante Furtado.

24 y/o from C. Verde spent the last two years in Bulgaria, winning the best goal scorer in his first season there. This will be his first time playing in the SL.

I just had a good laugh from what they printed on that article: "Pacos de Ferreira is a team not only renown for having an extremely enthusiastic and vast fan base, " :) yeah, very vast fan base

Don't make fun of Paços. They have great fans, and I still remember my one visit to Mata Real when they beat Sporting cerca 2003. The place was a mad house, but it is true that their fan base extends all the way until Santo Tirso tops. At least they got new uniforms that don't say welcome to the home of furniture.

More importantly, can someone give any details on the Antunes race? Celta were thought to be in the driver seat before we got relegated, now no longer. The kid is gonna be a star for a while.

The Antunes sweepstakes ends with him going on loan to AS Roma for one year with an option of purchasing the player for 1.2 million euros. Shrewd piece of business done by Roma to get the left fullback of the future for Portugal.

Pacos de Ferreira were just wronged yesterday by the soccer gods. This is truly the cruelest sport on earth. They hit the post twice. They had a ball cleared off the line. And they had this amazing shot just go inches wide. And in the end, AZ Alkmaar scores a late goal in the 89th minute to take a 1-0 road victory. Heartbreaking.

Jose Mota is suspended; it will be Jorge Mendonça, the assistant coach, that will determine and direct the squad vs FC Porto.
