FC Edmonton will be wearing their new 3rd jersey's for the game against Fort Lauderdale Strikers Sunday. They're to recognise the Edmonton Drillers of the old NASL, and are different from the Driller's retro jerseys they used last year for a few games.
Yeah, it was hard at times to tell them apart. Nice uniforms though, expecially with the jersey sponsor on the back under the number and the FCE logo on the front with "Drillers" across the chest.
This season's fauxback is pretty nice, 8 on a scale of 10. The sponsor location ruined an otherwise good idea last season.
In person, it didn't look too difficult to differentiate between both teams. Edmonton's use of orange shorts and socks really made them stand out against the Strikers. I like that these are JUST being used against the teams with the old NASL names (Rowdies and Strikers). These would otherwise just seem too out of place with the teams regular kits, which are pretty sharp on their own.
Perhaps, but UStream is not the highest video quality, I had to keep looking at the shorts to see the difference of the teams.
