I will be at the Vancouver game at BC Place. Hope there's a good crowd, and FCE performs well.

Most seem to think Vancouver Whitecaps FC will win this year and represent Canada in Concacaf.

The attendance was poor, considering last year I think Edmonton had around 8900 at the same stadium when they played Toronto FC in the same tournament. The weather was good last night too.

No they didn't. It was under 6,000 for the TFC game.

The V-Cup isn't a big deal in Edmonton, especially under this format.

My bad, the attendance was 5781 for that game.

0-0 at halftime with FC Edmonton starting 8 Canadians in the lineup and playing well, having 2 great scoring chances.

Pinto scored early in the second half for put FC Edmonton up 1-0 but 3 late goals by Vancouver won it. A good showing for FCE for 3/4's of the game, they did alright against a hot MLS team.
