Word from Big D Soccer is they signed Kellyn Acosta to HG contract. I'm not sure if that is good for him or bad for him
Oh joy....we signed a 16 year old. Don't get me wrong, very happy for the kid and always great to have Big D natives playing on the team but got my hopes up for some hope this season. Nevermind.
I like him, but that doesn't fit the chatter I heard... but I do think he is the what caused the chatter... So like you I'm a little meh right this minute. I do like him a lot though.
Cause what this team needs is more young guys completely not needy to contribute. Awesome. Why would this kid sign with them anyways, did he not see the other 6 guys wasting away?

Apparently according to julian de guzman, hes been traded to dallas. No word on what tfc is getting back. If interested ill give my thought on jdg but i think he might do well for hyndman
Buzz is also posted something about it. If this is true it's a weird trade. But it will come down to what Dallas gives in return.
Hernandez going to retire from the playing side of things perhaps (I have nothing to base this on, just a thought)?
Naw, I dont see a holding mid getting traded. Im pretty certain Hernandez will retire soon as the guy above mentioned. Jacobson & Marcelin will still be needed & I doubt TFC would want them. Depends on what FCD is giving up but this looks like a good move imo. Ive always said JDG would do well on an MLS club with more quality. He will be alot more effective if he isnt a focal point & just one player in a vast variety of quality (& the potential is still there). Players like Shea, Ferreira, Perez, & Jackson should take the pressure off some & he should be fine.

I'll miss Wiedeman, but I'm glad to see a little more experience (read: not DH) in the midfield... Maybe some creativity, and a national team player (yeah, Canada, but still!)

To be fair, he really looked flat out terrible those times in camp. I certainly would have been stunned if FCD had signed him back then.
The transfer window closes (July 27th) soon. Anyone heard of any rumors or is FCD content with the current roster?
