If you poke around over at Maxxed or Soccerpulse, you can find links to download the full version of that show. Best english-speaking analysis of Spanish Football IMHO. Way better than the Guardian podcast.
My German is absolutely terrible; however, I believe this is footage of LPB practicing last weekend (starts at about 25 seconds)... [ame]http://de.youtube.com/watch?v=ji6r7J6L2bk[/ame]
The show is aired every wednesday. I've been watching for the last month and its fabulous. You see all the goals from the liga encounters and you get some pretty good analysis and interviews as well. 3 weeks ago they added a podcast that you can download from their site for free - this is a supplement to the regular show that goes into more detail. www.skysports.com/revista Here are the links to this week's show [the one covering El Classico - credit to Pakman the original capper]: http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=083f4a63779b101891b20cc0d07ba4d279629503aeeb2fe3 Hoss: What the hell was that?
Yes, I downloaded and watched that an hour ago, awesome quality and quick download! I downloaded all four parts of ~700 MB in about 7 minutes... Here are some screenshots...
Hey, I watched the revista extra show the past two weeks and it was fantastic....thanks to you guys. It is a great show and they bring up a lot of valid and thought provoking points. I know everyone says that the season isn't won in November or December....but you can definitely distance yourself to stack the odds in your favour during these months . Still lots of football to play though. In my opinion....once a team is playing without their main star or a couple of stars are injured, the team will drop points....it's almost a given.
FYI: If you have an iPhone, you can download Revista podcast directly to your phone. Awesome find guys!!
it airs on Tuesday. I thought everybody here knew about Revista, or I would've let you guys know about it much earlier. great great show, Balague's Espanyol bias aside
Last 16 Draw: Chelsea v Juventus Villareal v Panathinaikos Sporting v Bayern Atletico v Porto Lyon v Barca Real v Liverpool Arsenal v Roma Inter v Man U decent draw for us
LMAO Did anyone see the faces of Lyon representatives after they knew they will face Barcelona? Priceless!
Good draw for us... Inter/Man United will be fun with Mourinho and Sir Red Nose LPB/Liverpoop ought to be decent, too, though I think LPB will crash out...
Very good draw but as Messi said, at this stage, we won't face any weak teams... I am glad that we avoided the English teams and Inter... I hope Villarreal and Atletico make it out of this round .
Just got home and saw the draw results. I like, I like! From a U.S. television standpoint, Barcelona play the same day as Man United, so no ESPN2. ESPN Deportes will likely pick it up. I predict... Tuesday 24 Feb/11 Mar ESPN2 live: Internazionale - Man. United ESPN Dep live: Lyon - Barcelona Setanta live: Arsenal - Roma ESPN Classic delay: Lyon - Barcelona Atlético - Porto will likely be delayed on ESPN Dep and/or Setanta. Wednesday 25 Feb/10 Mar Tough to predict but I'll go with this... ESPN2 live: Real Madrid - Liverpool ESPN Dep live: Villarreal - Panathinaikos Setanta live: Chelsea - Juventus ESPN Classic: I don't think they're allowed to show the Setanta live match so I really don't know what they'll show. I'll place Sporting - Bayern here just because.
Hurry before UEFA pulls it off youtube. It's at 4:30 of the video. Their reaction was as if they knew they'd get screwed. [youtube]hVCNwSnr_jo[/youtube]
Re: Last 16 Draw: Out of who we could have possibly drawn....I think I'm happy with this. I think Bayern got the easiest opponents of all. As for the Spanish teams....with the exception of LPB, I think the draw treated us pretty well. I also think the English teams had an unlucky draw, I can't wait to see what the "Special One" does in the lead up to their matches.
I was thinking that too....this is going to start all those "we'll see which league has more teams advance....that should determine which league is better" debates. I think Arsenal-Roma would be the most entertaining of the three though, from a neutral perspective. At least it makes for interesting tv viewing in Canada. On the downside, we'll have to wait on extended delay to watch Barcelona.
You're right. i guess the 2 parts of the show are available at different times. The show proper airs on Tuesday; the podcast is available on Wednesday.
