But a great outing was enjoyed with production from Sinclair with 11 and Walters, Taylor and Aguero bringing in 5 or more. Braces from Ba and Rooney makes it funny to see Wewunwunce out of the Golden Boot but here they get bronze. Not only a medal but a commentary..... So busy I have been in tinkering with my little club of little significance with silly moves like MLS players playing 5 Gameweeks that I had really not looked at the table and the other leagues. Well this week's Fantasy Olympics is about a Select Group with the good genes or good luck to have Van Persie on their squad. The Fantasy Olympics is kind of like their golf outings on the weekend. Meanwhile, the All Rocks crown is what they are really fighting about. Each with Van Persie, at the top of their individual league, they get to have hobbies like raising thoroughbreads and showing they can outguess their peers with the likes of Sigurdsson for a mere 5.0 to really stick it to the other 3. This week FC St. Pauli gets top honors whoops it up and is a mere 11 points from the top of the table that BiggerBoat has enjoyed for weeks now. Further pranks are expected. FC St. Pauli, who is in VSR, will get honors for winning his Group and Advancing 3 years straight. Meanwhile, VSR is going to be the best Division to watch. For promotion (and still in the running for winning VSR as Van Persie has never been known to survive an entire season without a bunk knee or something) is FC Touchline Ban 83 points behind. He is joined by ThiKu Mariners and In off the post who are at worst 50 points behind him for promotion. Next is the other half where 4 teams are within34 points of each other to be dropped to Sand League. Pittsadelphia, Park Lane, Aviators and Pork Soda. 14 weeks to go. Pittsadelphia is off the radar, Aviators is amassing a nice squad when he is not nursing Lampard, Enrique and Van der vaart all day. Pork Soda has the misfortune of being the Oakland Raiders of VSR with Balotellie and Suarez. Making them sit in the corner for bad behavior is just unproductive. Good ol' Harry besides tax evasion can't get Adebayor in form. We shall see... Great, now you've jinxed me AND my boy RvP! But seriously, VSR is crazy competitive. I think just three gameweeks ago the top four teams were within 10 of each other. Could be just as close again very quickly.
Every once in a while a guy with not many options just gets lucky. Sasha Juniors stuck at the bottom 50 percentile about anywhere you care to compare be in in All Rocks or Small Rocks happens to plunder on. Can't necessarily make First Draft Pick Lampard a Captain. Valencia sure but he is an assist on average. Why not choose they guy that has not scored more than 2 points in 7 weeks. And then pow! It works. The other 21 points of Adebayor were lurking with Jedi Padiwans. Moving steadily up the table they instead Captain Yakubu and to bring Assou-Ekotto's 13 points to the bank. The Bronze winner Ram It In There had 61 points of finesse and no Adebayor to thank. They Captain's Ramsey over Rooney. But get the Assou-Ekotto bonus as well. I don't know of the 4th Adebayor but there was one down in Park Lane where Ashley Williams got the nod. Not bad with an assist but an extra 17 points..... Yellowcake Phantoms got the dream AutoSub Captain as Meireles was not let onto the field as AVB tries to stave off the trap door that sends him to West Ham for next season. Of course Sasha Juniors manager thinks to give the LA Galaxy player a turn at the armband and does not learn from the fruits of Adebayors last outing. So a measly 2 points were doubled. The Bronze medals go to Cassville and blech with the foresight to have Walcott on the field along with Cahill. blech is making good use of budget with Figueroa and Kelly bringing in clean sheets at only 8.3 million between the two. It was just one of those weeks for FC St. Pauli. Sure having Van Persie as captain is great but what is even better is having two Swansea players that can score double digits. Siggurdson sure but Caulker that was sweet. He was only on the pitch because old Glen Johnson was unavailable. So there it goes on top of two tables with a 4.0 defender. BiggerBoat had the transfer magic of Pogrebnyak but kept the captain badge on Van Persie. Back to the engine room to chase out Kolarov maybe or a good lecture to Sinclair for Siggurdson getting all of the action. But the engines will be fired for the final 11 week countdown. Bronze goes to FC Touchline Ban with Captain Dempsey running riot against the Wolves. Backline was well invested and a good Norwich run will keep him back for the medals.
