I dont care either, but the rules were laid out and the players knew the rules.

either way, like I said, that incident was not what made Vela quit the national team

lol the irony in that pic,

Vela disrespects the national team because of his supposed salt towards the federacion

You realize the purpose of quoting a post is to reply to its content?

It makes no sense to quote me when you are answering something completely different and unrelated to what I said.

Please sharpen your comprehension skills, and try again.

Bullsh1t. Nestor release the players, and the rules said the players could go whichever way they wanted after that. The FMF made some bullsh!t rules and applied them retroactively.

    proof?

and again, who cares, that is not the issue as to why Vela does not want to come. he was specific about his intentions on focusing on his career at real sociedad rather than the national team.

If you don't care, don't bring it up. The details of the incident are widely known. Just google it... particularly, the reasons cited by the players for refusing to play.

As for Vela's reasons, I think the incident is very personal, and related to his humiliation in 2011. When he trained with the NT, and then Chepo said he was never considered for the Gold Cup. Something definitely happened between Chepo and Vela before he left.

    so, its 2013

if he still has a grudge, which btw would be the only diva that still does, and he puts that grudge first than his national team duty, then

    FACK VELA!

seriously, cant believe we are having this conversation, you remind me of the blanco's apologists who excused his desertion of the national team during the confed cup just so he can take some vacations. Wonder if blanco thinks those vacations were worth it.

remember, its Carlos refusing the call ups, because he chooses to focus on his club instead of his national team duty. even chepo has traveled to europe to talk to carlos to beg him to come back, but he still refuses.

    with that said

So I guess Chepo saying that he decided not to call him after all means nothing?

I wonder if Grizmann might join Vela's Fack The National Team after his 1 year ban for breaking curfew is over.

he most likely wont, if he has any integrity and self respect, he would heed the national team call up for his own country.

Did you read the part where I said the Vela's grudge was likely do to another incident, and not the party?

You started a thread called "Fack Vela," and you didn't envision this conversation happening?

Officially, he hasn't refused any call-ups.;)

France is at a different level. If he says no, they'll just call some one else just as good. Mexico doesn't have that luxury.

I see you like to repeat many unproven statements here but no proof.

care to provide proof of vela not being called up in the last 2 years?

If Vela had been "officially" called up, FIFA would have forced him to comply. He just respectfully requested not be called, because he knew, he would have no option otherwise.

It's not rocket science... just common sense.

    that's not protocol:rolleyes:

And we are talking about official call-ups. You know, the ones where they actually call the player "officially."

FEDERACION a HERO??? if they wanted to be serious they should have suspended the whole team!! but i guess for some players they can bend rules.

Pern, for someone who hates Vela so much you seem to spend a very large percentage of your days with him on your mind; you're either an extremely dedicated troll or you structure your life around a blind nationalism. Either way perhaps you should find more healthy things to occupy your time with.
