Liverpool and Chelsea will definitely challenge for the top 2 positions alongside Arsenal and Birmingham.

Noooooo - they're taking Coco away from the loud, crazy referee woman from the Bad Neuenahr stands? I feel an international stalking case developing.

Someone said on fb that there were too many foreigners now in the WSL. Here are the numbers according to my file :
    2011 35/168 21%
    2012 45/162 28%
    2013 32/143 22%

Maybe they mean the foreigners are too good now? Who knows. There's a phrase called "********wits abound" which means... well, ********wits abound.

Bristol has signed Rayo Vallecano's captain Natalia Pablos, who scored 3 goals against Arsenal in the 2011 and 2012 Champions Leagues. Overall, she has scored 311 goals in 324 games in the Spanish league, and 8 goals in 13 Champions League games. This season she has scored 20 goals in 23 games.

She will travel to Bristol on March 18, after playing two last games for Rayo against Athletic Bilbao and Espanyol.

Here's a compilation of many of her goals:

Liverpool - Everton finish 1-1 in the FA cup . It was a nice game , a true derby, a tough physical game.....the two teams definitely displayed a good performance , the result is fair as Liverpool had the best players but Everton have a better team , which is normal due to the fact that almost all Liverpool's players are new.....Swedish international Louise Fors scored the first goal on a penalty and Nikita Parris , wotm with Rachel Brown in my opinion , equalized for Everton with 5 minutes remaining ......Form what I saw , I am pretty sure this year it will be harder than usual for Arsenal to win the league .

Great start of the FA WSL season due to the weather.
8 games involving FA WSL teams have been postponed already with one FA Cup game and one FA WSL Conti Cup game played for each side. The League starts on the 14th of April except for Arsenal starting on the 12th of May now due to Champions League involvement.

The teams have been selected for 2014 with the creation of a 2nd division with 10 teams
Division 1 stays the same as the last 3 seasons except Doncaster being relegated and Man City replacing them  Now Doncaster has 13 League games to play before going down  Also Lincoln are now moving to Nottingham in a move that will remind people of the Wimbledon/MK Dons disaster.

The division 2 teams : Aston Villa Ladies FC, Doncaster Rovers Belles Ladies FC, Durham Women's FC, London Bees Women's FC (Barnet FC), Millwall Lionesses FC, Oxford United Women's FC, Reading Women’s FC, Sunderland Women's FC, Watford Ladies FC, Yeovil Town Ladies FC

I think at least one team is appealing (Portsmouth) and the FA ahs to go through the appeal process first. But yeah they wont disclose their choice for sure, they did not the first time round.

Well, I guess just because of the $$ behind Liverpool, there was no way they were going to "relegate" them, (or Chelsea for that matter,) so Doncaster got the boot.... absolute shame, considering their history, but at least the past few tables *somewhat* support the move.

The Lincoln -> Notts is heretic, though.

I got the usual FA reply when I asked about the choices :

"The adjudication process will remain confidential between the involved parties as the information is sensitive. "

I'm probably missing something here, but does this mean that clubs are not relegated or promoted based on the results of their games? o_O

For the first year of the two-division setup, no; they had to take application and I guess pick that way. But my understanding was that, now that they have two divisions, there WILL be pro/rel - based on standings - starting with the jump from 2014->2015.
