It's not a mainstay of his game but he did it plenty of times for Dortmund. Assisted that way too. He's not held the ball well at all this game. or even attempted to carry it through the middle. You don't need to be Dembele to do it occasionally.
If not being able to walk through the middle was a knock against playing in the hole Robert would never see the pitch. Can't really judge Shinji in a game where we are playing zero wingers and our change forwards.
Robert ? And i never said it was a main feature of his game. But he needs to hold the ball better on occasions and turn sometimes to move the ball forward.

Missed most the first half so i don't know how good Kagawa was but from what i've seen he's been giving the ball away, having poor touches and going to ground easy
