I think we have to give Rooney, Nani, Jones and Anderson a bit of a pass for this game. Probably a bit of rustiness there.

I think he's been good. A lot more positive in his approach today and just better overall than he has been in recent weeks/months.

there's some sort of balance too when he plays with nani. we don't focus as much on what he can't do.

Was a good shot by Nani cleared off the line.

Rooney then had a good long range attempt too.

Valencia is having his best game in a while.

 

Wayne has vowed to never pass to Nani again

 

Why Did Ando stop at the edge of the box for a moment there when there was space ahead of him ?

 

Another thing people forget is Nani playmaking, and making himself available.

 

He must be a holding winger. He stays in the line up.

 

cheeky ball by nani, nice. / once upon a time, valencia used to skin people by going in straight lines down the flank. i swear, it happened. can't believe he'd rahter pâss the ball back instead of taking a 1vs1 near the corner post. :S

 

He's working well in Combo with Rafa who provides the outlet when needed.

 

Nani has got sharper and sharper.

 

And as we know, he keeps his vows. Unless he gets horny.

Agreed. Ando has been good so far though.

 

When your fullback is more aggressive in taking on players , is more attacking you have a problem.

 

Its like he is a union guy working to rule.

 

which is nothing to be brag about considering we only have 3 wingers and they've never all been healthy at the same time this year.

 

Rooney never passes to Nani so he won't outshine him.

 

I don't think any of them have done badly. In fact, some very nice plays at times by all 3. I just thought I'd mention it early in case one of them made a few to many errors.
