I had a dodgy stream, but from my view Rafael's hands were down by his side, and that may have helped his case. West Ham's defender had his hands in what some may deem as an "unnatural position". --------------------------- Rusty from the guys returning to the team, but encouraging none the less. Great timing too. Apart from Carrick, I can already see the team we'd need to rotate during the run in, when there's 2 games a week. A lot of rusty touches, but still had some good moments. Cheech looked okay today without scoring [I thought]. Happy with this performance overall. Nice and rested for Spurs at the weekend.
Scholes really pissed me off with that tackle today. Its not cute, never has been. Some of you keep laughing and shrugging it off, but if the tables were turned on him or one of our guys... Watching the replay, it almost looked like he could've broke the guys leg.
Absolutely great stuff from Giggs, just amazing. He's done more good things in this game than Valencia or Nani did the entire season.
Not sure that anyone laughs off Scholes' tackles. They are very bad, and it is almost surprising he hasn't laid out more people in his career with significant injuries. However, he is our guy, so naturally we are lighter about it than say, Pogatetz or whatnot.
If your guy raped someone, would you be naturally lighter with him than a typical rapist? #hyperbole?
It was mistimed but his foot was pointing downwards and it was one feeted. He also made sure that he took his man with his trailing leg. Don't think it was a leg breaking tackle.
Or Ronnie. By the way, did anyone disown Keano when he was here? Because he makes Scholes bad tackles look lite.
thought he was in great form again yesterday... amazing how many times he can do it. that pass to Hernandez was sublime. two more yellows in the PL before April and he'll be banned for two games.
