I've stopped waiting for objectivity or accountability from the footballing media when in comes to our club. Granted, I don't live in the UK and don't read or view these so-called "experts" spewing their filth, so you have my sympathies.
Ake with a bad pass but follows it up with a nice hustle play and wins the ball back on a tackle. Well done lad. Torres with a shot back pass to the Boro keeper. Feck off mate.
The media issue is that most are Liverpool fans, whether they admit it or not. Rafa won the European Cup there, therefore he is great.
Chelsea utterly panics when the opposition counterattacks. We seem in danger once their in possession.
that would involve us having a clue while in possession aint happening under FSW and his dire tactics which allow the opposition to come into the game
good effort from Boro as Yossi goes through the motions Paulo left rooted in defending the cross after a decent opening five we have gone to shyte
Spot on. Our touch passes are touchless. We panic at the first sign of anything. Fecking dreadful last 15 minutes here.
Yossi to no one in the box. Torres just stands 20 yards out after he plays in Yossi. Great movement lads. Great movement.
Torres to Yossi who doesn't come to the ball and so a Boro players steps in front. Wow. Dreadful this.
The ability to retain possession under pressure is imperative to a possession game. We play to ball quickly but to the expense of our positioning, as most of the time players are not in the position to receive passes. The ball is one and then lost in 2 to 3 passes. Player movement is not only static (look at how many of our players are standing after releasing the ball) but counterproductive (it doesn't advance play or it puts the passer/receiving player into a position to execute a low percentage pass). Couple that with panicking under the slightest pressure and its little wonder why this team struggles to play possession football.
