No TV coverage in the US for this game? http://www.livesoccertv.com/match/1019287/newcastle-united-vs-cardiff-city/
So, I've had to subscribe to the NUFC official audio stream to follow this match in the US. Ridiculous it isn't on TV.
It's the FA who decides the TV matches in the FA Cup. Can't show what they aren't broadcasting. Is the audio feed $$$? If not, link?
It's a subscription service. It was 3 or so US dollars per month. You can unsubscribe at any time. Just go to NUFC official site and find NUFCTV or live audio link. Other option, which I used, is through the NUFC Android app. Edit: Here is the site link... http://www.nufc.co.uk/page/TV/LiveMatches/0,,10278~72504,00.html
Cardiff apparently dominating play. Still 0-0. We have, as usual, missed a couple really close shots. One bounced off the INSIDE of their goal post.
We came out of the gate strong in 2nd half. Putting on a lot of pressure. Missing a lot of close shots...
Ah Newcastle disappointed me today, I like this club, they are a cool club- My brother supports them, too bad his team couldn't give him a win to celebrate on his birthday. I would like to see them win something, I don't see why they can't win an FA cup or league cup title, but every year they drop out poorly in those cups, like they don't care about them. Why don't they try and go for such honors? Wigan and Swansea won them, its the only realistic chance of silverware for them at the moment.
Called it. Mike Ashley wants to recoup as much money as possible and premier league finishes are the way to achieve that. Cups don't have the same return on investment due to the extra money needing to be spent on squad depth. The Newcastle squad is the bare minimum for a decent top half finish. That's all he wants. Cup runs and European football earn him almost nothing.
