    Here's hoping Blank has the smarts to partner with or buy the Silverbacks and all the infrastructure that would come with such a move. Silverbacks park would be the perfect place for the MLS reserve team to play - and also for Open Cup matches against dinky little 2nd division teams like Tampon Bay. :)

    Great idea. Plus, the farm team will be just up the interstate from the MLS squad's home stadium downtown on Northside and Ivan Allen :cool:

    I wouldn't use Silverback park as a regular facility, like as practice fields, though. It would not be a good selling point for DPs. If you think players complaining about field turf is bad, try adding stagnant smog from the busiest intersection in the city.
