Just watched the video of the starting 11 for our MLS Allstar team. These guys are really looking forward to playing in our stadium and to having our crwod behind them.

Nothing against the Hammers but I hope our boys kick the crap out of them!:D

who gives a shit about the MLS All-stars? They don't like us and we don't like them. I'm rooting for WHU.

Blanco and company can lick my balls.

**** the MLS All-Stars. Theyre in for a rude awakening if they think the stadium is going to be behind them.

Why wouldn't you be behind them? How can you possibly have such a hate for all the other MLS players? Why would you ever cheer for West Ham before you would cheer for players that play in the league you support?

If you don't like Landon Donovan that's fine....but cheering for West Ham seems rather strange.

UM West Ham isn't in direct competition with us. This is how it is Toronto vs the rest of the MLS. Now the MLS puts a side together with no Toronto Players (maybe Edu on the bench) and all of a sudden I'm supposed to cheer for players I have been booing all season?

Go Hammers, until a TFC player or De Ro comes on. Until then it seems rather strange to all of a sudden cheer for players who we play against.

How about showing some passion or respect for the league your team plays in? Wouldn't want to see them succeed against everyone else?
Instead you want tot boo them until a TFC player comes on? How childish is that. Wah I voted for a month and didn't get my played on the All Star team. So now I'm going to boo them..... wow...
So do you think we are to boo the American Leage team or East All Stars when There aren't as many Jays, Leafs or Raptors on an All Star team as we would like?
    Grow up already.

I would cheer for the American League because they get World Series home field advantage if they win. I will continue to boo the same players I have been booing all year long when the MLS All Star game comes around. They are opposing teams players and will not get a warm reception from me unless they sign with our team.

See the thing is they should of had at least one Toronto player on the starting line-up. It is an exhibition game, sure we went nuts on the voting, but we should of had at least one starter.

You take the example of other leagues, okay NBA has yet to have an all-star game in Toronto. Throw that out.

Last NHL all-star game in Toronto was North America V. World with Toronto Maple Leafs on both Teams, Cujo and Sundin, with another on the bench for the World team. I bet people where going for one or both of those team.

The MLB game in Toronto had Robbie Alomar starting, Jimmey Key as a pitcher, and Joe Carter on the bench.

You see, this is how it is done, gives the home fans something to cheer for. It is ridiculous that there is not 1 starter out there for Toronto. Now I know there isn't enough spots for every team to have a starter, but what's the point of having the game in Toronto if they don't have at least one starter?

For crying out loud it's not a competitive game. You can't even put aside your narrow minded hate for 1 day of fair play and sportsmanship?

Too bad for you then. I trully feel sorry for closed minded people who can't see past a minor thing like cheering for their home team's players.
Hope your kid or relative doesn't grow up to play for a rival team.

That argument could be made for both sides. It's an exhibition game, let people cheer for who they want to cheer for.

i really don't have a problem with people cheering for who ever they want. It's the reasons I find funny...:D

I hope they don't play for a rival team either, chanting "who are ya?" at a family gathering probably wouldn't go over very well.

I am fairly neutral on the whole thing, yeah I think they should of had a TFC player starting to keep the fans happy, but you have DeRo and what, maybe Edu on the bench (Don't know why he is there, not our best player this year).

I see it as basically two teams out there playing, could be a couple local amateur teams for all I care, there is no real affiliation for the fans to cheer for one or the other. Why is is sooo funny if someone wants to cheer for West Ham? It's a neutral game, flip a coin and decided who you want to cheer for. Simple as that, well to me anyway.

    LOL too true

Who are ya? Who are ya? across the Thanks Giving table.... A pie is thrown and somehow uncle Billy's car got torched and ended up in Mo Jo's office. You wake up to 11 graves dug on your lawn... yikes.

    Enjoy the game!

Neither side peaks my interest and that's why I decided to go to the Eagles concert instead. The game is way overpriced!

TO all you who do go.....have fun and do whatever the hell ya want to for whatever reason.....you paid for it!

It's more the reason not to cheer for the MLS that I find funny...
Protesting, Argos, rules, players, lack of TFC players, etc.

Everbody dowhatchalike.... let's get down and have fun tonight.

You do realize that those Toronto teams won their divisions those years right? TFC can't even win at home.

I do find it weird people would rather cheer on West Ham... Did you really think the All Stars would be mostly TFC players when you paid for the AS tickets. If you though that it would, you're delusional... If knew it wouldn't, did your mother drop you on your head as a baby?

after watching the MLB home run derby last night...if the Yankees faithful can get behind a Texas Rangers player to the extent of the entire stadium chanting his name, I don't see why we can't put our differences aside for one game and support our own league. I wouldn't expect that we would chant and support to the same extent as we do for our Reds but on this one occasion, our house is MLS.

    QFT.

That's how exactly I feel as well. I don't understand why some MLS fans here don't get this?
