Yura got the red card vs. FC Nordsjælland on Sunday, March 14. He was not on the bench vs. Brøndby during their next match this past Monday, March 22. Unless he received an additional suspension for his red card foul (like Davies in Norway), I don't think his lack of appearing today had anything to do with the previous card.
It looked like that first goal went straight through the 5 hole. Chris needs to learn to protect the 5 hole and not get megged.
If you watch the replay close enough and in slow motion it goes to the side of Seitz... not much you can do with a wide open player 8 to 10 yards out...
Seitz got left out to dry on both goals. First one, you cant let a guy stand 6-8 yards from the goal without anybody around him Second one, kind of funny, but if Seitz is a bit slower to get back, Montero is off. Seitz did something right, and got punished for it (that sucks)
Yea on that second goal that defender on the back line needs to get his butt out of there! At first glance I thought montero was off. But the slow motion replay showed he was still on and it was a good call by the sideline official.
Yeah. He got take the PK on Randers FC 4th goal - they won today 4-0, quite the accomplishment for that club.
Yep - Yura got the start, played 85 minutes, and scored the final goal for Randers on a 78' PK to cap off a 4-0 whipping of Esbjerg - the 3rd best team in the current standings. Still at least 8 points behind in relegation standings (depending on results of today's other matches) with about 10 matches left. It would be interesting to see a recap of this match to see if Yura had any significant involvement to create the other 3 goals or draw the penalty.
Randers has not lost in the 2nd half of the season. As unlikely as it seemed at the end of the 1st half, if they keep this up they should avoid relegation.
Did Sturgis make the bench for Seattle? The new MLSSoccer.com box score and lineups sucked enough that I couldn't tell.
Didn't play, but I don't know if he was on the bench or not (or Klein for that matter). The sucky new version of MatchTracker listed neither subs nor who came in for a subbed out player.
He didn't dress. Not sure why. THough what concerned me most about that game was seeing Oguchi Oneywu in David Beckhams box...Shouldn't he be in Milan training? I know he isn't game fit but he was supposed to be training with the team from everything I have read.
god knows Milan could use him right now without Nesta back there... what are the chances of him retiring? (clint)
If ther was an award called Danish Superliga "Clown of the Week", then Yura Movsisyan would clearly have won this week, since he not only managed to prevent a team-mate from scoring, by somehow keeping the ball from crossing the line, in his own eager to give the ball the final (unnecessarily) push, but he was also ruled offside in the very same incident, which just made it even more comical... but see for yourself in the highlights below.. It's btw incredible how many close-range attempts he is able to waste (often hitting the post) : Highlights : [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gCcZbOi_10M"]YouTube- HB Køge - Randers FC, 1-2 (01-04-2010)[/ame] .
Hahahaha... awesome. He's actually getting better if he's hitting the post - probably because there were no fans behind goal to distract him.
You should start a thread about how many points Yura has tried to lose for his team! It's just good his new team has been able to compensate...
