Every Link I Click Opens, Then Goes To The Bottom Of The Page

Basically, whenever I've been clicking a link to a thread today, or to "my big soccer" the page opens at the correct spot (where I left off in a thread, the top of a new thread, or my page) then after the page fully loads it goes directly to the bottom of the page, like I had my "Page Down" button stuck or something. This is not the case. Nor is it happening on other websites I visit. My problem only, or something going on with BS?

I'm using IE. Not sure the version but most likely the newest.

    Thx,

    Jay!

Same here, exactly as Jay describes.

I'm using IE version 8 here at work. I was on the site this morning at home, where I use Firefox and I don't recall it happening at that time.

Was going to complain about this but thought it was just my computer for some reason. Happens to me with IE and Chrome.

It doesn't seem to be doing on Firefox for me. I'm using 7.0.

edit: Unless it's been fixed in the last hour or so.

Does it for me in IE9 on two seprate computers. Super annoying.

Loads fine in Safari on the iPhone though.

Dunno if it's related, but I did notice thee's a "Top" button at the bottom ow, directing the page back to #top. Could there be a new scripting error defaulting browsers to the bottom? I'm far too lazy to look through the source code and figure out where, if anywhere, it's buried on the actual page...

This was happening to me on my work system the last couple of days. We just upgraded to IE8 (Wed night) and I noticed it happening since. (WinXP).

It does not happen on my home system. Win7 - FF6

Happens to me, logged in or not, every new forum page. Possibly unrelated, but I'm getting scripting errors, too - here's the series I get tonight from looking at the second page in this thread (browser details as well..)

Is anyone on this yet? The original post was in August, but it's still doing it. Getting really annoying. I would use firefox, but it's been buggy too. Whenever I close it, it doesn't shut down and it won't let me open a new firefox window. So as much as I would love to use something else other than IE, I'm kinda stuck using it.

It's been good for me for a long while now. Not even going to the bottom of the page on the blank login screen anymore.

    I have IE.

    Thx,

    Jay!

weird, now it doesn't do it anymore. When I try to log in, it makes me do it twice and then the bug happens. But if I try to log in just once then, click a different link in Bs, it logs me in without having to put my credentials in again and the bug is gone.

    I'm using IE9
