We *should* win, but I'm hoping we didn't spend all our energy beating the Reds last weekend and ease up on the gas this one.

I predict 1-0 to the good guys.

Won't be able to watch this one live, as I'll be en route to Planet L.A.

It's these kinds of matches -- the ones on the heels of the big fixtures -- that separate European contenders from mid-table stragglers. If the team doesn't show the same passion and incisiveness they showed last Saturday, this one could easily end up being a disappointment.

I'm saying 1-1, but I'd dearly love to be proven wrong.

I'm gonna miss this one too. I'll be in Michigan, where I get absolutely NO cell phone service, so I can't even text anyone to see what the score is.

Good news is that it is my birthday on Friday, so they will win, of course! :)

Normally when we beat Liverpool we always play crap in the next few games. Hopefully that won't happen this time.

Pretty much dead on defeat for us :(

I'll be there singing my heart out either way.

I wouldn't be so down, the best time to play Everton is straight after a derby, no matter how many days later.

    Everton's record after derbies......

    After derby 1#: drew
    After derby 2#: lost

    1999/00
    After derby 1#: lost
    After derby 2#: lost

    2000/01
    After derby 1#: lost
    After derby 2#: lost

    2001/02
    After derby 1#: lost
    After derby 2#: won

    2002/03
    After derby 1#: drew
    After derby 2#: lost

    2003/04 -
    After derby 1#: lost
    After derby 2#: lost

    2004/05
    After derby 1#: drew
    After derby 2#: lost

    2005/06
    After derby 1#: won
    After derby 2#: drew

So out of the last 16 derbies, Everton have only won twice straight after and lost 10. And I'm sure if you go further back n the 90s the record will remain the same.

    my prediction

If Lescott and Yobo play together then Everton 2-2 Wigan.

If Stubbs or Weir is there, 1-1

    We should line up-

    Kirkland

    Baines
    De Zeeuw
    Hall
    Boyce

    McCullouch
    Scharner
    Landzaat
    Valencia

    Heskey
    Camara

Doubts over McCullouch but if he isnt fit Kilbane could start, or Valencia could be put on the left with Teale coming in on the right.

Camara still also a doubt and if he isnt fit then Todorov, who is also struggling with a slight injuy may come in, in place of him. If not then thats where it gets complicated. McCullouch up front possibly, or Andy Johnson, or Cotterill.

I think he probably should do to be honest. If he deffinately wasnt going to play Jewell normally says so midweek and there is no word yet on it.

I hope Kilbane starts. He should get a warm reception, and i want to see whether he really was Premiership material.

I'm pretty excited for tomorrow... Don't think I'll make a prediction but I'll be cheering the boys on, that's for sure.

He was also at the Liverpool game too in the stands (he was still serving red card suspension).

From what I remember of last season - incidentally, the only season we've played Wigan - he was huge in them getting two results against us. Furthermore, he scored against us when he was with Southampton the season before. So, yeah, the guy makes me nervous.

I love your new sig line.:)

I'm still a little bit skeptical, though, about your new found optimism.

    Kickoff in 20.

There is a stream - Guangdong Sports on TVAnts and SOP Cast. Sorry, I don't have a direct link.

I'll try to keep you updated, although with a stream I'm always a few minutes behind the actual live broadcast.

I think this is a link to some direct links, if it works. http://www.myp2p.eu/Matches/Match1.htm

The Guangdong is working really well, but it's in Chinese. The English ESPN isn't working.

I've found SOP Cast to be much easier to use and more reliable. Just my experience, though.

    Thanks, Howard, for the links!
